  1. Picked this up today...knew they released some lp's on Trip, but can't seem to find any info about that record label having any 45's by the Ohio Players. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this record. Kind of a cool looking label. -Nick
  2. Any offers around £120-150 would be accepted. It's only the first second or two that is ruined, and then plays great. Trades are also acceptable.
  3. The melted part.
  4. Got a Harry Starr- Step Into My World c/w Another Time, Another Place on End 1129. BB hole in label "Step" side is is Ex "Another" side is in G+ due to what looks like a small part on the edge of the vinyl is melted or sanded (will post a picture) which makes the first few seconds unplayable, but still plays most of the intro before he starts singing. The side sounds Vg+ to EX as it plays through though, minus the intro thing. Taking offers or trades.
  5. Are all of their record over 3 minutes long? I remember playing Anytime Is The Right Time at an event a while back when I wasn't too familiar with it, and I thought it was about to end 3 different times but then it kicked right back in over and over.
  6. Here's the label picture...housed in a plain white cardboard sleeve, so figured no need to take a picture of that. I got this for a buck, and I just don't need it to continue to take up space. Send me an offer, and more than likely I'll accept. -Nick
  7. Masqueraders test press of the album "Everybody Wanna Live On" on Columbia. Not the best of condition...vinyl is Vg+ at a generous best, but the sleeve is clean with the band name mispelled as 'Mascaraders'. 'KCMR' is also written on both sides. Tracks are all switched around too. I'll add pictures in a bit. If you're interested just PM with an offer. -Nick

Yeah, I've got that one too on Egg, I think. I've played it a few times. One of his best tracks, but his Eddie Purrell cover is his best Northern track imo.

Anyone else a fan? Kind of rips off everyone elses songs (especially Bob & Earl), but at least he does a great job imo. My favorite: although his cover of The Spoiler is a close 2nd
  17. Don't worry, already PM'd him. Just want to have the song, but I'm still interested in getting the US copy.
  18. Yeah, saw that one already...did a google search and it showed one on the original label someone was selling on here a year ago for the same price.
  19. On Phillips Don't think it's too rare...let me know. -Nick

Thanks. Found another site selling a copy for £25. Re-listened to the "I Love You Because" side, and it's definitely the better side.

Carolyn Basley-River's Invitation (Inviting Me To Jump In) c/w I Love You Because on Minit 32083 Anyone ever heard of it? Worth anything? I paid $8 I've tried looking it up and I can't find anything other than that it came out late 60's. Would post a soundclip, but the sites down. River's Invitation is kind of a cool song, and both sides are produced by Ike Turner(RIP).
  22. Bobby Paris- Night Owl on Cameo Chuck Wood- Seven Days on Roulette Frances Nero- Keep On Loving Me on Soul Doris Troy- I'll Do Anything on Calla Gonna trade a friend something for that Doris Troy unless someone can give it to me cheap. Thanks for the help. -Nick

I was weirded out the whole time, but he had 10,000 45s in his basement. Most 50's, 60's male vocalists/pop-chart stuff, but I pulled out a few things by Vibrations, Darrell Banks, and J.J. Barnes all promos, and a ton of Etta James and Sugar Pie DeSanto too.
