Ok so I have been going to all-nighters and soul do's for a few years now and I just wanted to see what people think of younger people on the scene? I am 21 years old and have been into it for about 3 or so years now. I started of going with a mate the same age as me but he moved away so i go with people much older. I will be honest and admit i do somtimes have people look at me strange and I have had people ask me "should you not be in bed" "does ur mummy know your out etc." This is not everyone just a small few. Do people think it is strange someone so young is into northern soul with all older people? Have people forgot they were young when they were into it? How can we get more youngester in the scene?

Is there any reason why there are atleast 4 variations?

Hi all, just a quick question. I have just bought this record on Ebay and I have notcied there are two different coloured labels on the same number. My one is half green half white and the other one was just blue. Can anyone tell me the difference or if it has been booted. Cheers

I have a song on my ipod I have had for a few years now which I really love but I do not know who it is by or anything. I would appericate if anyone could help? I downloaded the song of "Youtube" a few years ago and it was under the name "HAPPY MOTHERS MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE MOTHERS OUT THERE" but it never had who the group was who sang it. Was just wondering if people are for or against leting the media in, E.G making documentries and films etc on the "Northern Soul" scene. The "This is England" documentary on "Youtube" got me thinking about it as I was reading the comments on there and alot of people were against it at the time but now alot of them can see why they did it. It seemed they wanted to keep it underground and most of them would not go when they were filming at the Casino or they kept out the way of the camera;s. for all kinds of reason, gear, etc. All the comments said the people on the videos were divs. As I am young, would letting the media in, would it attract more poeple to get into the "Northern" scene and get more youngsters into it or would it spoil it? Would it help the scene so it never will die out? What do you all think? I personally would not like it but then again would it help more younger people to get in to the scene when all you oldies get to old ha ha?
