If You Had A Chance
Now that post made me smile. Ok here's one for you, Marvin Gaye during his Belgium stint. A God given voice with bucketloads of talent, hoovering up huge amounts of coke, throwing tantrums left right & centre and still producing some quality soul. Those would have been some amazing sessions. Sitting in on them & trying to make some sense of it all, is what I'd like to have done.

Current State Of Northern Soul In Uk 2007
I'd be interested in hearing the views of the people who ticked the Who Cares box. Not asking them to justify their views, just seems strange thing to vote.

If You Had A Chance
No need to limit it to one choice either.

If You Had A Chance
If you had a chance to turn back the hands of time & sit in on a recording session in a music studio, which session would it be? Year would also be interesting, but appreciate that would be difficult to give in many cases.

Just A Thought
Excellent post. Although being a southerner I'm slightly biased.

Muriel Day
Ever thought of releasing/publishing them as playlists. Would be intersting & also resolve a few arguments. Might also start a few more, which would be even more interesting.

Dancing Contests - Who Needs Em?
Bring it on. Happy to give up the dance floor for 15 mins Like watching people enjoy themselves competing & sort of enjoy watching it. I do appreciate both sides of the argument. Happy to stand around chatting to Simsy, Garv & Baz, but basically chaps you are wrong

The O'jays " I Love Music " Mecca Play
Carlitos Way, really good film. I Love Music fekkin awful record. Maybe an OK Jazz Funk record, but that counts for nothing if you love soul music. Or maybe people blowing whistles in night clubs added something to it that I missed.

The O'jays " I Love Music " Mecca Play
I'm not too sure what you mean by that, you seem to be contradicting yourself a bit.

It's The Daily Mail Again

Dean Parish - It'll Never Be Over For Me
Love to hear that. Wonder who bought it? Any idea what format it came out in vinyl/acetate?
-
Dean Parish - It'll Never Be Over For Me
Don't be sorry. Personally I think the bloke arranging the backing track should be sorry. Another wasted opportunity.

Dj Genesis Presents Audra - "it's U"
Just played it for the first time. Sound OK. Probably sounds much better, played out.

Dean Parish - It'll Never Be Over For Me
Intersting one Listen to it at https://www.crazybeat.co.uk/ 100 % better than last release - Lord Large Tosh. But you have to question the Acid Jazz's wisdom in trying to re-create the magic of "It'll Never Be Over For Me" What next a cover of " Whats Going On"
