Spot on, he was sooooooo funny. I remember him at an all-dayer in Yorkshire saying over the mike. I can't believe they fill me full of alcohol and pay me to do what I love doing....playing my f...king records....well missed.

I started reading this thread and thought I'd look a sad git answering this one but for my tupence worth. Mum always loved her motown and reggae....still can't listen to Ken Boothe - everything I own without the dreaded lump in the throat.....

It was Rugby's scene in the 80's that got me into Northern, anything to get out of the town!!!! Hence the bouncers on the door keeping the locals out.... The 28th's my next outing although I only realised it was on a Wednesday the other day......so the poor workers won't make it, never mind, us ladies of leisure will.....
