  15. when you shuffle off this mortal coil? Any of the following? or possible other choices? 1. I trust my my wife to sell them on for me 2. Selling up well before then - don't trust anyone with them 3. Stick them in my coffin - I'll take them with me 4. Give them away in my will to a very good friend 5. No idea- it won't be my problem
  16. I hear of collectors selling up their originals and "downgrading" to re-issues/pressings. If that becomes the norm amongst collectors - then is surely follows that the demand for boots will go UP and the price will GO up too! It makes money sense to buy up as many boots now
  17. I don't know about how soulful, but back in the day: Zola - King Errison The Trip - Dave Mitchell and the Screamers were damned hard to dance to. I agree about Frantic Escape - my fav instrumental

I live in Blackpool and on my trips "over the border" I call in at Covers 33 and pick up record boxes and sleeves. Saves on the p&P. Definitley the cheapest if you are passing that way (Halifax/Ripponden). Once I went over and he was shut (I later found out) due to a family bereavement after I had arrranged to collect a box on a Saturday morning. I rang on the Sunday on the way back back on the off chance. And he was in. He was explaining his family problem and offered to bring the goods to Blackpool the next day at no extra cost. Excellent service although not needed as I was in the area. Cheers
  19. The Trip - Dave Mitchell & The Screamers Zola - King Errison Double Life - Jerry Fuller

If you are worried about using sellotape, use a little blue tack instead. Just the job. Edited to clarify: Blue tack on the run out groove NOT on the label.

Who should we interview? Ever heard of the Goodies? Bill Oddie? Have a word with him. "Black Pudding Bertha - the Queen of Northern Soul"
  22. Thanks for the info. Somehow the Little Curtis 45 has by-passed me over the years. What an absolutely brilliant soul record. I love it love it.

Correct. However, I have a reduced a price BEFORE any bids to attract more interest.
  24. Donald Height - Rags To Riches To Rags - Avco (UK). EX+ £75 I played this last night after digging it out. Forgotten how good it sounds. I had no idea of its value albeit my label has a bit of a tear and a bit tatty. Sounds great though
