Info Needed On 2 Jobete Acetates
Yeah the acetate was for publishers so would have been put together with a view to selling songs to the UK so 10 months difference would not have mattered. It's the same as the two from Carlin/Hanway St. I sold mine to that accountant who got rumbled. i bet yours is one of those two from some cicuitous route.

Info Needed On 2 Jobete Acetates
Both 10" that came from Hanway street were the same 4 tracks in opposite running orders. Andy Rix might remember the others, he certainly worked out who they were, we may have a dub at work I'll look it up

Mark Lamarr S.o.s
https://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/ Or for a more direct approach go to the Beeb's own complaints dept above.

Mark Lamarr S.o.s
Couldn't agree more, it's the same with Northern

Mark Lamarr S.o.s
The chap's in good spirits and is very pleased with the campaign. I've sent him a link to this thread, so you should get your fiver soon Pete. I think on one of his last shows he wasn't even allowed to say goodbye to his listeners; they're pre-recorded and the Beeb are terrified about any potential controversy.

Can You Identify These 100 Club Dancers?
So you were thinking it too!

Mark Lamarr S.o.s
As it 'appens (sorry wrong radio DJ) Mr Lamarr is popping round to Ace Towers this afternoon for a tour and hopefully a bit of Kent Harris compilation, so if you've got any messages for him i could pass 'em on. Ady

Can You Identify These 100 Club Dancers?
The big bloke looks like Ian Dewhirst impersonating Liam, the birds are a cross between Nat Steele and Hayley from Northampton. I can't get the sound but it looks like they're dancing to The Champion on ketamine. It was a particularly good night that one.

Mary Love: Baby I'll Come, Modern
Thanks John if it's not re-1 x suprise me, but i think it will be now.
-
Mary Love: Baby I'll Come, Modern
Thanks John, that would infer that the original mixes didn't make it to vinyl and there is just the remix as the actual release. I'll have to stick the Satisfied Feeling out but not the Baby I'll Come as it's not as good as the release.
-
Mary Love: Satisfied Feeling: Modern
Though the remix of Baby I'll Come is better than the original mix, the reverse is true of this great dancer that has more brass on the original. Now has anyone got an original copy that doesn't say Re-1 scratched in the run-out grooves?
-
Arthur Freeman On Jumbo
Very interesting, I'm now wondering if there was a third geezer as the Tami Young on Modern is part of Arthur Freemans Quad productions which seem to be written by LA associated people!
-
Arthur Freeman On Jumbo
Anyone got a readable scan. I'm a thinking there were two different geezers.
-
Ernie Andrews On Kent
We're not 100% sure it came out Kent 401 'Shake A Hand' / 'I'm Falling For You'
-
John Manship Auction
Are you sure Tony had this from me, I didn't think I had that many! Same goes for the Pete S/Mick S copy I thought I'd only had two!

Mary Love: Baby I'll Come, Modern
C'mon you matrix pervs, get scouring that dead wax.
-
Mary Love: Baby I'll Come, Modern
I've got the one with the matrix RE-1 X scratched in the run out grooves. Has anyone got it without this then I can compare how the remix was to the original please.

Ian Levine On 6 Music Tonight
Less of the stupid doubting smileys please; as i said the vast majority were.
-
Ian Levine On 6 Music Tonight
As he's not on here, your personal ongoing spat isn't relevant to a discussion about records played on a radio show. Ditto with Crossfire, I didn't look to see if every record was an original or a boot, I do know that the vast majority were originals and I didn't witness any boots.
-
Ian Levine On 6 Music Tonight
No James that's not bolox. I wouldn't have posted it if I had thought that. Get over it and concentrate on your own stuff.
-
Ian Levine On 6 Music Tonight
But if he was playing other people's discoveries that's good that he's not being ego-centric because he could have easily filled the time in just playing his own discoveries, let alone his own productions and he didn't so I think that's a good thing.
