Jerry Cook ( I Hurt On The Other Side )
Remember talking to Sid Barnes for quite a while at The Dome after Backdoor Kenny told me he was Duke Browner???????? One of those nights eh! A couple of weeks later he played at the 100Club with Hoagy Lands and I managed to sing some IHOTOS with him live tho'he sounded better than me. We squared the name check but he didn't give me any info on Jerry Cook-I always thought it was Little Jerry Cook when he got a bit bigger!

Not too sure where the 'soulful' come into that one. That's just a dance track to me. But if it floats your boat.

2 Rooms Or 1
Bisley had a good crack at it that night but a better sound system would have helped. (Got one sitting in my bedroom brand new 2000 watts good to go if interested.) Went down there just for the 2room event. Could have worked on it as IMO there's a definate demand with the right dj's. Kev

Objective Criticism
There has been some related threads Gary i.e. the Kenny Bobien one recently but as you can imagine on a rare soul forum the interest tends to be limited so peters out after a while. If you'd like to share faves how about a cd swop. pm me if interested Cheers Kev

Updated Caviar & Chitlins Sought After Lp By The Exciters
Sure they're the same Russ. Great tune from a great lp. Better versions of 'Oh how I love you' than Philip Mitchell and 'That's the way I want to live my life' better than Percy Sledge but 'It's the little things' is IMO better by Philip Mitchell.

Always depends on cashflow and how much I'm concentrating at any given time Tony. I tend to bounce around between Artist and Label but it tends to be artist first for me.- Most Collected Labels
