  2. Hi again Lorraine. It looks like you're settling in here like a good 'un. Thank you for the information on the Carol Anderson label. It's great to have met you and Jack Ashford but one of my deepest regrets was never having the chance to meet Mike Terry before he sadly passed away. Could you share with us your fondest memories him. The most respected and talented man. It would be great to hear some memories/anectodes. Best Kevin
  3. Hi Ian I see you can't sleep either.. That reminds me of the first time i ever heard a soul singer sing live. It was mid 70's at the Casino, again JJ Barnes. If I had n't realised I'd become a devoted soul fan before that night I certainly did after his concert. The experience totally changed me. The artists I find and in a lot of cases Detroiters, (if I can use that expression)..certainly fit the Soul tag with excellence and gusto! Great to have Lorraine on here isn't it. Best Kev
  4. Hi Lorraine, A Great Big WELCOME to Soulsource. It was great to meet you in Prestatyn this year, your show was FANTASTIC and THANKYOU for signing my copy of 'You Only Live Twice' and the spare autograph for my good friend John (who couldn't make it that night.) You truly are an amazing and talented Lady! I'm sure there'll be lots of questions for you. Here's mine...I hope you can help with an answer....... A few friends and I were discussing Sandra Richardson's 'Stay With Me' ...a tremendous record..on InterSoul....and Carol Anderson's Tomorrow Is Not A Promise' on Soul 'O' Sonic. Did you have any involvement in the latter...another tremendous piece of soul. We were wondering if the labels were linked? as the artwork is very similar and the dates of the records are the same. A PIED PIPER appears......and we follow. Thank you so much for your contributions to Soul music...you deserve to take a bow. ..and I hope there's more to come. Lots of Soul love to you. Kevin. x

  21. I've got I Can't Stop on 3 different Koko designs. One has My Honey & me on the flip (same as the Staple Singers) I can't remember the flip of the white/multi coloured issue. But the YGTGLTGL is only on the Koko 101 if memory serves me right. Nice mid tempo r'n'bish dancer. It's in refosoul...don't seem to be able to copy & paste. Kev
