Fun you should write that Stevie, I went to a long running local soul night last month that was held in a huge sports hall only to find 20ish punters in there and this coming month it is advertised as one of the best soul nights in the country . Imagine travelling a100 mile or more round trip to find that.

Do they make the music sound better. Suppose it's not so bad on a whippersnapper like you Whippersnapper , but promise you won't wear them when your in your 40/50's. I could go on for ever as they are a pet hate of mine.

I tend to look out for the cheapies , they're the ones people seem to pass over. Last week i had chance to obtain LILLIAN DUPREE - I'VE GOT A SHEILD ROUND MY HEART .Not at an big price but instead I got FRED HUGHES - WALK BACK TO YOU and BILLY STEWART - CRAZY ABOUT YOU BABY both extremely cheap . I must say IMHO BOTH are as good in there own rights as LILLIAN DUPREE

I recieved a email last week stating that a seller on ebay had just recieved payment for a record, everything ok there . The payment was made 22/04/05 . I only remember very vaguely something about the record . He has offered me a credit note for the full ammount .Now has it happens I have just won a record from him and he HAS honoured his word .
