Yep another album they just continued on the same theme on the cover art. Red is awful to my ears except this track. Don't know if this was a two step spin or not, I chanced upon it listening to the album from the sales section of Record Mania records in Stockholm.

Yep on the Red one! Very similiar both features drawings of her, one with purple background and one with red. Think her hair is done different on them as well. Found another 7 inch copy of this last week if anyones interested.
  4. Updated and bump. Still a few very nice items left.
  5. A couple of reductions: Niteflyte - All about love - Ariola 40 (Not for sale sticker on label) now 35 Archie Bell & the Drells - Where will you go when the party's over - PIR 35 (UK only, plays with a couple of pops, intro is fine, still a very nice copy) now 30 Chimes - Beginning of my life - Down to Earth 12 now 8 Up from the Bottom - The way the world will be - True Productions 12 now 8 Wreckin Crew - You don't care - Starville 12 now 8
  6. Yep should be some new interest in it after Steve Guarnori playing it on the Soul Discovery show.
  7. Yep the ballad side and dunno why, exact same recording on both releases.. Btw first heard "Squeeze" from Nancy Yahiro, she found two beat up copies on one of her record trips and gave one to me because I liked it so much.
  8. Actually I'm not sure which came first..but Star Charts is the rarer one I reckon. Slow of Rhythmic Freedom fame played another track from the group off a compilation with local Arizona bands when I visited. Mid 80's thing and not as good as "Squeeze".
  9. Yep had.. Or still have the rarer Star Charts release in my own collection but sold two copies of the OK&T release. I also helped a friend selling his to a guy on here. Quite rare and hard to come by. I reckon value is around 500 pounds, that was what I asked and got for the three copies I sold.
  10. Another bump. List updated. Still have mint copies of Wreckin' Crew available.

Sorry no! Did the same mistake as you, lost a eBay auction due to being cheap and the bettered myself on the next one. Both where around $20.

I got one, same length and version as the 12".
  19. Perhaps you mean "I hope you be very unhappy without me"? Versions by Bill LaBounty, Esther Philips and Tavares.
  20. If mourning is your thing then try one of the two saddest songs known to man: Ed Townsend "How could you do it" Yvonne Fair "It should have been me"

    None for me
  22. Fastest delivery I ever had was when I sent Pete Smith cash (before paypal days) on a Monday and got the record the following Friday. One way post between Sweden and England most often takes a couple of more days than that. Worst probably has to be US to Sweden airmail around 30 business days..

Is it a 45 release on this song? Only familiar with LP and 12".

Hi Marc read again what I wrote - I objected that the record in question had been a 250 pound record just months ago. 1250 and 250 is quite a difference I would say. Apart from the two ebay copies which sold for $3482 and $2500 (which I bought) and the beat up one that sold for I think 600 pounds last year a friend traded one in 2005 straight swap vs Trace of Smoke which he also sold a copy of at the same time 1000 pounds. So it has been expensive quite awhile which was my point. Late 90's I believe Crazy Beat sold a few copies for 30 pounds or something like that and I got the beat up one off eBay at $46 in 2001 (my max bid was much higher as it was listed at VG+). Don't know of any copies in the market between then and last year.

Well I wouldn't say that Second Re$surection has been a 250 pund record in the 2000's. Two eBay copies last year sold for 2500usd and a higher amount similiar to the Manship auction. I got 450 pounds for my beat up copy which played pretty horrible when I upgraded to a mint, and the guy who got it sold it at an even higher price to someone else.
