I know we all like to dance to our fav tunes but if i heard something i did not know..............if i liked it, i would dance to it Even our fav tunes were unknown to us at some point So i think its good to hear something that might not of been played for years, or even the odd tune that i have not heard before................... it makes a nice change I have said this before......................i do get a bit bored of hearing the same top ten tunes, especially when there is so many other great tunes that don't get played Debbie x

  5. well. for my limited experience of DJ'ing , if anyone asks for a specific tune and i have it, it gets played. a DJ is there for the punters' enjoyment and to get folk dancin, regardless of style IAN

  13. very very sad news. These tributes on here only confirm to us all what a stalwart/pioneer/giant we've lost. To me personally, 'Blue Max' was legendary name that was spoken about when we were youngsters starting out on our soul journey. My late Brother in law would mention his name quite often, but to me he was out of my reach because i was still at school. amazing that over 30 years have passed since then, but 'Blue Max' is still mentioned in such high esteem. proves to me as someone who only met him the once (last year at the Torch reunon), what a true gent we've lost RIP Max

  17. My first Soul dancing started in the early 80s....................I think my first track was The Ivories-Please Stay But i have been dancing since i was 5 years old.....................Ballroom, Latin, Jazz, Lindy & Jive, Tap & Ballet....................always loved dancing Debbie x
