  2. And finally Ady is Jail lol well actually the back room at The 100 Club but looks like a cell with the bars up at the window lol
  3. Thought it might be fun to start a hall of fame type thing here on Soul Source, just cleaned out the shed and found bag fulls of old photographs, start the ball rolling with a classic snap of Ady Croasdell at one of our legendary after parties at Cleethorpes...Ady with a little ciggie type thingy lol priceless! Regards - Mark Bicknell. Before!
  4. Place record in a cold pan of water bring to a boil then simmer for fifteen minutes, leave to cool, remove fucked record and place between two pieces of glass put out in sun for a further forty five minutes, remove glass and run over record in a jeep, lastly clean with brillo pad or wire wool stand back and enjoy. Regards - Mark Bicknell.

Grant is a good geezer Keith and will get back to you mate I'm sure, could be working maybe or busy. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
  7. Yes as long as they get permission from the record company or compiler. Regards - Mark Bicknell.

  9. I just said that lol Mark Bicknell.
  10. What about the unissued material such as stuff put out by Ady Coasdell at Ace/Kent etc. where the original format is CD only? or do we dismiss that material also, still I guess you could alway's dub material from a modern retro sounding R'n'B artist and cover it up lol Regards - Mark Bicknell.
  11. Don't take me long when I'm on a mission lol sorted thanks. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
  12. Jimmey Soul Clark now sold. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
  13. Thanks chaps will just have to keep my eye open for a copy, should get fixed up so again if there is some kind soul out there with a spare please get in touch. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
  14. Oh it is in tha same league as the Hem 45 Bri, well the 'Fairy Tale' side certainly is in terms of the tight group harmony of the record, perhaps a spin side by side will support and confirm this, I do take your point that Show Stopper/Door Hit You Back is a class double header but the Ninandy release is certainly quality. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
  15. Fifty quid waiting if anyone can dig one out. Regards - Mark Bicknell
  16. I'm on my second copy, think I gave £150.00 for it a couple of years ago, has to be worth at least that and yes it's one of those records which people tend to keep hold of I think, a real sleeper of a record both sides yet to have it's full on 15 mins of fame on the scene. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
  17. Flip it over which will confirm this is a first rate double header, very much a collectors record was played but not that much. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
  18. The Platters - Not My Girl - 100 Club Anniversary single wanted, not sure which one it is? Ady reckons about twenty years ago, so one of the early ones, nice clean condition please if you can help, contact bicknellmark@aol.com or via PM here. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
  19. Sweet Three now sold. Thank you, regards - Mark Bicknell.
  20. You sir are the cheeky bastard I never went I was from down South and far to posh to attend such a shit hole, now if you are refering to that lanky fresh faced teenager from Reading who was lead astray by slightly bigger boys from the North of England then yes he did go for a solid three years from 1976 - 1979 but I never liked the twat personally lol think he ended up DJ'ing all over the place, fat bastard now hardly goes anywhere but from what I understand he still has some very tasty tunes lol Regards - Mark Bicknell.
  21. Deleted.
  22. Yes Chris I got your PM basically work in progress on this one will be in touch, just trying to work out how we can run such an event based on not charging dealers or admissions???? I take all the points about being able to set up free of charge at a soul do or allnighter but that's not exactly true is it when you have to pay to get in, also trying to think how to do all the promotion, advertising, flyers, pay for venue, cover electric used by dealers for using portable record players, lights etc. perhaps we should have it in a field Des lol Regards - Mark Bicknell.
  23. Never went I lied lol Mark Bicknell.
