Think I've done this one before but I found a Charisma Band 'Aint nothing like your love' for 50p at an Edinburgh car boot sale amongst some Slade 45s (what was I doing looking in this box?), the Metros RCA LP for £5 from a little Edinburgh record store, and Garnett Mimms UA LP for a quid in the Cancer Research shop! In the late 80s/early 90s a mate of mine got Tony Middleton (MGM) and Tommy Navarro (DeJac) for 20 cents each from the same little 50 box at a market in New Jersey - without knowing what TN was and just as it was going big, before the press.

OK, was being a bit flipant, can't get owt for a fiver these days but you know what I meant!! Anyway hanging onto mine! As an aside if you like Zig Zag Lightening try True Love, fab, totally different pace and crazy bluesy break half way through! Another fiver tune!

Sorry not having mine, and I know this isnt look in your box but just had to comment, is this the dogs bollocks or what!?!!! Know its been lurking around for a few years but ever REALLY given mileage (Well I enjoyed playing it out at Bradford Unity Club)? Jock O'Connor sold me his recently, listened to it a 1000 times and it still gives me that ole fashioned hair standing on end thing... Watch though, I originally made the the mistake of buying from the flip ("How long will it last", maybe better known, also good) but this was released twice with a different flip than "Beg". Only seen one orig (well the UK London version I think) before about 20 years ago, a mate of mine who was a latin/jazz DJ had one. Haven't got a clue on price but an orig Fania probs as rare as Hen's teeth? Or at least case of every latin collector who wants one has got one - leaving none for us soulies! Bloody superb LP. Other Fania stuff came out on UK London, I used to have a Ralph Robles LP witha few boogaloo tracks on including Taking it over. You obviously know about the 80s reissue, blue and white label but is there also one on Spanish/S. American? Also if your only after Deeper shade of Soul or Mercy Mercy baby / Soul Drummers these came out as 45s, got both of these on white demos. Mark.
