  4. I thought about adding it to events, but it's multiple dates, and the mods seemed OK to keep it here....and only just put in the one playlist, so should I scratch it here and include in the playlist section? Just wanna keep everyone happy, mate.

  6. The Masters of Soul gig in Islington last night was just that....some wiley veteran legends of the soul scene in attendance, in what is a great right-sized venue in Satan's Circus. Too many great tunes to mention as all the DJ's spun some stunning stuff. 19. First aired on 22nd May 2013 Here's the 24th installment of The Divine Chord Gospel Show which appears monthly on dublab.com. https://www.mixcloud.com/gregbelson/divine-chord-gospel-show-pt-24/ Thanks so much to all of you that have supported the broadcast, as we present the 2nd Anniversary show! We launch with the righteous sounds of the Voices of East Harlem before heading to New Zealand for a new 45 courtesy of R.A. Yates. And we finish the set with the indemander from the Sensational Cymbals. For pt.2, we start with a real sublime rarity from Shirley Ann Lee as well as quality offerings from the Golden Crowns & the Mission Light Gospel Singers. Billy Griffin delivers a special cut that I think could seriously go places! To close, Mr Charles Cofer delivers a hard funky cover version that seems tough to turn up, as well as the Carolina Jubilees with another cover, and equally elusive. And we finish our anniversary with another great crossover cut! Feel free to join the facebook group 'The Divine Chord Gospel Show'. Thanks!

  23. I had the same thing happen to me....we'd just finished doing a gig together, and he kipped on my couch. Over night, he'd had a rifle through the small stack I had in the living room, and left in the morning. He then listed the record he nicked up for sale on his website 2 weeks later....a well known chap who I thought was a gent. You live and learn .
  24. Two very smart compilations.....however, if you're looking for original pressings, there's only one or two tracks included on Apocryphal Hymns that are from LP's....the rest are all 45's.
