I'm intrigued to find out more about what 'Little Caesar' released......and under various guises like; Little Caesar and the Euterpians Little Caesar and the Romans Little Caesar and the Consuls .......etc All one in the same group just recording for different labels. Are there any definite discographies to hand? Thanks!

Hemphill. Bobby Dobyne & the Barefacts 'Hold on, I'm coming' / 'Soulful sound of music' (Crown Ltd #120) Produced by Hal Hodgens, engineer is Gaston Nichols So immediately, I'm seeing the Neal Hemphill connection between the Pat & the Blind Billy sides.....awesome!

Rare gospel northern soul....I've still got to find any solid info on this 45! I know that it's written by Marvin Griffin & produced/engineered by Neal Hemphill.....possibly performed by Marvin too. I'm aware of the Bobby Dobyne & Pat & the Neurotics sides for Crown Ltd, plus I have a few other gospels too. But I've had this record now for a while, and haven't heard mention of it anywhere else. If it is an unknown, then what do you think? Cheers!

There's very little to go on with regards to the label, mate.....I'm gonna guess it would be sometime near the Eddie Floyd release which would be 1968. I'd say between 1970 and 1972, but I've nothing concrete to back that up.

Eli told me that he's performing with Roscoe this weekend....really wish I could be there for it. He said he's never seen this 45 before, and that he was gonna play the clip I sent him a while back to Roscoe. Turns out it really is a rare'un!!

I can truthfully tell you that my LP's are pretty dormant...........but I'm in my 45's crates everyday. I think the book & mp3's would work.....the book for me, and the mp3's for the wifey and the car. I'm pretty much a slave to the OG 45, mate.....it's a curse, I tell you!

I couldn't bring myself to buy this set......I should really pick up the book cos that looks great, but as far as the rest of the box is concerned, it would have sat in the corner, gathering dust. I'm probably missing out, but I still can't deal with buying reissue 45's, no matter how nicely they're packaged.
