Personally I think that's a pretty average record that misses the mark of that 'crossover' potential. One record that succeeds perfectly is the Parisians on Demon Hot though. But then again, my personal preference is always the rawer productions than the smoother mid 70's efforts - Leroy Clofer is '76 isn't it?

And that could be the whole point. Make sure it's your record you get back. I've heard cases where buyers have minted up and tried to return their filler copy to the minty seller. Very underhand......the buyer gets to keep the minter, and gets their cash refunded whilst the seller gets an inferior copy returned which he's obviously unlikely to resell at the original price. And it's difficult to do a thing about it without some sort of original photgraphic proof.

I don't often get caught up with R.I.P. threads, but this fellow was totally under-rated and so humble about his gift. I saw him live about 2 years ago in London, and his voice just swept me away - and all from sitting on a stool on the corner of the stage. For one 45 sent from California, with a new cruciform mailer and a minimum of three stiffeners I charge either; First Class International = $7 approx or Express Priority Mail (which is the cheapest shipping method the US Postal Service offers whilst obtaining a door-to-door tracking number) = $30 approx For one LP, FCI should be around $13, certainly no more than $14.
