Ashton Ukrainian, The Little Club with Whole Lotta Soul!! Andrew Dyson is back behind the decks with us, once again, expect the unexpected, mixed in with the evergreens of our scene!! Gis Southworth also brings a wealth of experience of all the great and good that The Rare Soul Scene has to offer and then some!! Stephen Morgan an Ashton Regular and a man with great taste in Rare 60s Soul with a Dash of Crossover, looking forward to his debut set!! Simon "The Fixer" Ingham has an extensive contact list of DJs from The UK and abroad, as you will be keenly aware from our previous events and is a non too shabby DJ in his own right, starring at some of the top niters, who as well as playing the so called "Big Hitters" always looks to turn up the next bargain basement 45s just waiting to have their day !! Phil Dunn Team Ukrainian "Anchor Man" always kicks off the proceedings, for The Eager Beavers!! Always some forgotten oldies in the mix to get the dance floor moving!! Chris Churm is the man responsible for some Scorching Last Hour Gems, Classy Soul Music for The Dancers!! August is peeping round the corner and Saturday August 16th, we look forward to our next Ashton Ukrainian Club event. No let up in the pace, as another busy Saturday night on the Soul Calendar awaits, we are ever thankful to The Ashton Faithful, who make the night what it is, as ever we strive to provide a varied and quality line up for your dancing pleasure. Andrew Dyson one of the main men behind the much missed Lifeline Niters will be joining us once again, you just know how good it's gonna be!! Preston Cybermen OG Gis Southworth is also back with us, after a blistering set last year WW 1 headgear optional !! Stephen Morgan will be making his debut on the decks, expect some quality crossover winners and a dash of 60s Soul, a man with an eclectic taste in our music. We also have Team Ukrainian Fixer Simon Ingham back from his holidays, with some jaw dropping recent selections, should be good!! The Summer Season is in full swing and the Soul Calendar rolls on, as we look forward to our Saturday August 16th date at Ashton Ukrainian Club. Once again as our way of thanks for The Unbelievable support from The Ashton Faithful, we have another Quality DJ Line up for you!! Andrew Dyson a well known and revered DJ on our scene, a resident at The much missed Lifeline Sessions in all their guises and in the latter years I believe at Soul Essence Weekenders, such is his depth and knowledge of all things Soulful!! We had a few of the founder members of "The Preston Cybermen" at our July event and we're really pleased to have fellow cyberman Gis Southworth back behind the decks for us!! Ashton regular and again well known face on the scene, at all the best venues Stephen Morgan will be making his DJ debut for us, look forward to that!! Stockport's finest Simon Ingham is back from his travels and has some amazing Rare Soul 45s to grace the decks.
