Ashton Ukrainian Club delivers in spades yet again WOW, What a night!! Definitely something for everyone, in five and half action packed hours. A few of our Ashton Brethren missing, but as ever yet more new attendees, soaking up our unique atmosphere!! Classy opening set from Phil Dunn for the early birds!! Next up making his debut Wilxy played a varied and imaginative set, so glad you enjoyed it mate and a nice gesture for our hard working bar staff!! Luci Jones followed with a great mix of Rhythm and soul and a few classics, Cliff Nobles lit the dance floor up and rightly so!! I followed and really enjoyed myself, mixing the styles and tempos and even managed to squeeze a few requests in, thanks for the positive feedback, it really is appreciated!! Next up the spot of the night for me a strangely rather nervous Alan Jenkins, he needn't have worried, just WOW!! Jaw dropping mix of big hitters and rare soul classics, a video snippet attached below!! Lord Ashton Chris Churm did the honors with his now legendary last hour spot, keeping the assembled masses dancing to the last record, including a few bonus additions, to send everyone happy, job done mate!! Some amazing DJ line ups coming your way, including the May event, we are pleased to welcome Butch, this will be a ticket only event and quite a few reserved already, can't wait. The weekend is nearly here and we're prepped and ready to deliver the next instalment at Ashton Ukrainian Club. Saturday March 16th we welcome another quality DJ line up for the Ashton Faithful !! Check out the thread, as so many already have for some quality sample sound bites of rare soul gems from the playbox of Alan Jenkins !!! BVAN mainstay Wilxy will be bringing the heat, with a set with a huge nod to the Motor City!! Luci Jones will be back with us, on the back of a sell out gig at "The Gathering" with her unique all action playlist!! Phil Dunn will as ever open the proceedings for the early birds!! Mick Howard and Lord Ashton Chris Churm complete the line up. Stu Cheetham has kindly ordered a neat memento pin badge from the recent Anniversary Event, free to the first 80 people through the doors!! Just £5 admission pay on the door, gets you involved in what is sure to be another packed house, so please arrive early!! The night runs 7pm-00.30 Ashton definitely "got soul"!!

Staggering response yet again for our March instalment at Ashton Ukrainian Club!! Saturday March 16th is just around the corner, another eventful year at the little club, that packs a big punch with a playlist to rival most All-nighters!! Alan Jenkins will be WOWING us once more with a prime assortment of Big Hitters and seldom played gems, right across the rare soul spectrum. Some big news regards future dates and guest DJs and our resident personal trainer and Team Ukrainian regular Stu Cheetham has got a special memento from the anniversary night, well worth picking up!! So lots to look forward to. Wilxy will be making his Ukrainian Club debut, bringing a hefty slice of the motor city in his playbox!! Luci Jones fresh from the recent sell out date at "The Gathering" will be back behind the decks, please check back on the thread on here regularly, for a snippet of what's on offer and feel free to RSVP the event !! Phil Dunn as ever opens the proceedings !! Chris Churm and Mick Howard complete another quality line up for the Ashton Faithful!! Please arrive early to guarantee a slice of the main room action!! Well it's February 29th and we're leaping towards the next Ashton Ukrainian Club!! Saturday March 16th can't come quick enough ,judging by the messages and feedback already on our soul-source event page thread, please check out the thread regularly for some classy guest DJ selections and feel free to RSVP the event. We are constantly amazed at the new faces in attendance, joining the Ashton Brethren, a few asking about the best time to arrive, as the main room gets busy real quick, so as ever please arrive early!!! More news on the night and in the lead up to the event ,about some amazing DJs from the rare soul scene, for the coming months, we aim to please!!! Alan Jenkins will making the long journey South from Falkirk, as our headline Guest DJ!! Heading up to join us is our good friend Wilxy, who turned up some real stunning selections on the much missed BVAN sessions, look forward to that!! Luci Jones resident DJ at the ultra popular "The Gathering" sessions, will be upping the atmosphere and tempo from her all action selections, aimed firmly at the dance floor!!! Ashton Supremo Chris Churm Phil Dunn and Mick Howard will be starting, finishing and all the bits in-between to compliment an already quality line up.
