2024 is moving along at pace and not long to our March Instalment at Ashton Ukrainian Club !! Saturday March 16th yet more quality guest DJs for the Ashton Faithful!! We have some mind blowing line ups coming your way, with one in particular in the not too distant future, more news available on the night !!! ......... Alan Jenkins will be back to join us behind the decks, on the back of a real stand out set at the recent Rugby Anniversary Niter !!! Luci Jones is another returning guest with her all action high octane selections, aimed firmly at the dancers!! Wilxy will be well known from the memorable BVAN sessions and a regular contributor and collector of motor city moooovers, so look forward to that!!! Team Ukrainian regulars Phil Dunn Chris Churm and Mick Howard complete a unique and varied line up!! Once again hats off for all our regular supporters and first timers who absolutely make the night and atmosphere what it is!! Admission still a wallet friendly £5 admission pay on the door, running 7pm-00.30 although last time people just didn't want to leave, a true testament to the quality of the night !!! Another quality line up at Ashton Ukrainian Club, we welcome two returning guest DJs. Falkirk's finest Alan Jenkins is back behind the decks after a sensational spot at the recent Rugby Anniversary All-nighter and Luci Jones with her all action sets of uptempo Northern Soul and R+B scorchers. We have another debutant in the shape of Wilxy who will be well known to members on here and a major contributor to the BVAN sessions expect a healthy portion of soul from the Motor City and much more!!

Blown away by another full house and yet more New Faces, it really is appreciated . Nice to catch up with Alan Jenkins and Natalie Nicholls glad you enjoyed and look forward to Alan's set next month!! Musically it was right up there, usual fresh and varied opening set from Phil Dunn and very close to spot of the night was Tony Mac, very unassuming he never fails to deliver!! Next up two hours of Soulful Grooves Ukrainian fixer and non too shabby DJ Simon Ingham double decking with Top Soul Collector/DJ Allan Coney some real nice stuff, a few acetates and great forgotten oldies like Top Shelf "no second thoughts" sounded great to these ears!! Top Spot of the night and rightly so Andy Dyson once again took the roof off, Stormie Winters "lifesaver" Bernadine and so many more, just brilliant, thanks mate!! Lord Ashton Chris Churm rounded off the night, mixing the styles Marshall, Donovan and Broomfield, Choice of Color the pick of the 70s mooovers from the 60s Brooks Brothers, Ralph Graham and squeezing the last drop of emotion Big Jack Montgomery "don't turn your back on me" WOW!! Always the sign of a great night when people just didn't want to leave!! We have some amazing DJs lined up in the coming months, more will be revealed March 16th......

Just over a week to the 7th anniversary celebrations at Ashton Ukrainian Club. We have a slight change to the line up, unfortunately Hoss can't make this one!! We have secured a top class replacement, Tony Mac will be joining us behind the decks, no let up in quality, so look forward to that!! After a top notch set at the recent Lowton Anniversary night, we welcome Andy Dyson bringing a Flavor of some memorable niters at Lifeline,The Wilton and many more!! Allan Coney also makes a welcome return, double decking with Stockport's finest Simon Ingham after a memorable extended set in 2023!! Ashton Supremo Chris Churm and opening the night as ever Phil Dunn will be entertaining The Ashton Faithful. We have to make a mention to our new attendees, which grows by the month and for that we thank you. We have some pretty special guest DJs already booked in the coming months, you will not be disappointed!! The night starts 7pm running till 00.30 and a very reasonable £5 admission pay on the door gets you in........BUT please arrive early, as we have had an astonishing response to the night already. Well the Lowton Anniversary at Culcheth was a definite winner, we arrived late to the party, well ten minutes after the doors opened, got the last spot on the car park WOW!! The main room was already rammed, every table taken, we ended up in the recess area, the darkness kind of added to the atmosphere!! We spent the night flitting between the main and modern room, caught most of Chalky's set, take a bow sir, you smashed it. Pick of the night in the main room was for me Kev Murphy a truly great set of rare soul big hitters. Nice to catch up with Chris and Marcelle after our NYE shenanigans at Piercebridge, not forgetting Jumping Joan Oi Oi !!! and Phil T,look forward to the Grumpy Take over Easter special. If you haven't yet been to the new venue at the village hall, you're missing at trick, well done all!!
