Yeah Bury VAN has been the mainstay for a lot of people,never staying the same,different themed shows every month keeping it fresh.Looking forward to NYE for the "best of Bury" Some great output on the vinyl front,Russell Paine at Super Disco Edits has also unearthed some top drawer unnissued 70's soul,long may it continue!! and agree Pete,hopefully not too much longer before we get to go back out again!

  7. I have a VG copy of Jesse Johnson "left out" with a stress mark half way across,the price reflected that.It plays with no issues,so all good.

    I saw quite a bit of negativity when the Bury VAN and other live streams started, then the very same people saw it as alright when they decided the to dip their toes and it became obvious the pandemic was here for a good while longer. My personal opinion is live stream ie in someone's bedroom/kitchen looks naff and the constant walking over to check the video is working doesn't help! The bonus of being able to programme tracks that don't normally get airtime(no pressure to please the dancefloor) has allowed the introduction of lesser played tracks and I hope broadened a few horizons and maybe freshen up the playlists when venues "go live" again. I agree no excuse for poor sound quality!
