  1. Don't know if it's common knowledge around here or not but there's at least three different Ohio Players Trip comps that have the Towanda Barnes tunes. One has 8 songs per side and is obviously not an audiophile experience. Another set I have is a double LP with 4-5 songs per side and sound much better.
  2. Ending today! https://shop.ebay.com/kidinquisitive/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=
  3. I am selling more than 250 45s, all with a low start price of $6 and no reserves. All with soundclips. Usual mix of funk, northern soul, crossover/70s, modern/boogie, Latin, Gospel, R&B, sweet soul, etc. Some obscure titles that I've never offered before, mixed in with lots of quality staples. Check them out at this link: https://shop.ebay.com...=&_trksid=p4340

242 45s up for auction right now, all of which start at $6 with no reserves, and all have soundclips. Funk, Northern Soul, Modern, Boogie, Gospel, R&B, Latin and Sweet Soul are all well represented, as well as some garage, punk, hard rock & new wave obscurities. You can see the listings at this link: https://shop.ebay.com...=1&_from=&_ipg= Also worth mentioning, all bidders who win 4 or more 45s will get free first class shipping! If the package has to go by express mail because of high value I will cover half that cost.

  10. Just two days left to go on these...
  11. I just listed 405 45's on ebay: all have a start price of $6 with no reserves and all have soundclips. This is by far my largest auction list ever. There are lots of cheapies but goodies as well as quite a few rarities and obscurities. Covering northern soul, crossover, modern, funk, psych, Latin, garage, gospel, rockabilly and more. If you collect 45s by all means take some time to inspect the list. Also worth noting is that shipping will be free anywhere in the world if you win 4 or more records off this list. 12. Check it out: The Bay Is Deep
  13. The promo is on vinyl, so figures it would be better quality. I sold a squeaky clean copy of the wlp a few months ago for about the same price that I just got for a VG copy of the styrene issue... go figure.
  14. These are ending now and continuing over the next few hours.
  15. Ending tomorrow!
  16. Big 45 auction up now - northern, crossover, modern, gospel, boogaloo, funk, sweet soul, etc. ALL with soundclips. Check 'em out: https://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZkidinquisitiveQQhtZ-1
  17. I know this is a 45-centric board but just in case there are any adventurous members who venture into the LP or 12 inch format, I've got some nice stuff up for auction at the moment. 100 titles all with soundclips and nearly all start at less than $10. You can see them here: https://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZkidinquisitiveQQhtZ-1
  18. NM copy on Hot Licks with a black marker dash on the label. $140 plus shipping ($6 to outside the US) thanks, Jesse
  19. Your time is running out. Make your bid before it's too late.
  20. Many tough gospel 45's and LP's now on ebay - all with soundclips. Click here to see: https://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZkidinquisitiveQQhtZ-1
  21. I haven't noticed any truly major changes on ebay with regards to the number of titles being listed nor the end prices. Obviously it has fallen off a bit over the last year or so, but it would truly be bizarre if it hadn't, given the shifts in currency values and the macroeconomic downturns. I would guess record prices are down something like 15-20 percent. Totally unscientific guess though. If you stick to buying from established dealers then ebay is as good a place as anywhere else online to buy records.
  22. Scorpio reissues are spot-able from a mile away. I could see how it might be hard to tell if you're looking at a small pic on ebay but if you seem them in real life I can't see how you would think they were originals. There are a few reissues done by other parties here in the states that are hard to tell apart. The Invaders "Spacing Out" being one. Mostly funk records so nothing most of you would ever have to worry about. Also, some early and mid-80s titles have been reissued or booted and those can get confusing.
  23. Anyone have a guess at a current value for a NM copy of "The Right To Cry"? thanks
  24. These start ending at 9:30 a.m. west coast time (roughly two hours from the time of this post) and continue closing throughout the day. Don't forget about the free shipping if you win 3 or more records. Thanks for looking!
