ray agee im losing again?
so theres three boots, one old plus two recent and the only way to detect an original is via matrix in the run out reading S-104-B then circle with what looks like 2/5 in it then the Monarch pressing plant triangle followed by 66575-X ? Did I summarize that correct or any additions (must admit lost a bit track on this) ?

Ian Levine Soul Pack's
Yeah, or as a "refund"... I knew they would one day break "free" of this circle of friends who got them from this "anonymous source", would come into the market. dont know if this was the first time but it sure wasnt the last time. on a side note: if levine gave them away as a refund...he seems to have more than one copy at least on these titles ? why was he given more than one of they were not to be sold on ? Just asking.

Bay-Tone label convolut sale
Nice run of what for my money are the best Bay-Tone R&B Soul 45s to be sold complete. When starting to play out Eugene Jeffersons "Too Young" at venues like the Hip City Soul Club and Hideaway Manchester at the turn of the century it was my goal to get hold of this labels best R&B hitters, sadly I failed as far as Mama Thornton is concerned, yet I think this little nice run makes a great add on to anybodys R&B collection. Both Vernon and Jewel 45s for example are real belters and still underplayed IMO. No boots and re-issues, only the real deal original 45s here. 370 USD ONO gets you this nice label run, BEST OFFER right now 300 USD ! 108 Eugene Jefferson "Too Young" Mint (-) ! 109 Mitch Myron "Runnin' Around Town" M- 111 Vernon and Jewel "I Got To Get Closer" EX (+) 112 Vernon and Jewel "It Hit Me Where It Hurts" M- 115 Eugene Jefferson "The Hunch" M-

The Magnetics Ra-sel Boot
Funnily enough, I have the same too! As posted on fb by a helpful Soulie for further "inspection" original next to bootleg

The Magnetics Ra-sel Boot
As far as the Magnetics is concerned the boot is easy to tell once you' ve seen an original. Text print is blurred on every line, label appears to be darker than the original, thing just looks cheap and badly photo copied. Still I am sure one or two poor newcomers with money to burn will get burned soon if and when one comes on the market. I know its been said its kinda "vanity project" but sure records do change hands sooner or later..

Frank Beverley re-issue
No need to implode fella, just stating that it states Re in the title description for everybody clear to see AND further down again in item description. So what more ? Either the bidders are blind or stupid or simply dont care. Whatever the case one thing for sure the seller cant be accused of any wrong doing here IMO.

Rita & The Tiaras Original On E-Bay $3,850 And Still 5 Days To Go,
a friend of mine here in Berlin has a live recording (tape) of famous LA radio discjockey Jim Pruter playing this in his show back in 1967 introducing it as an great oldie...being so popular with the Lations down in LA..."Gone With The Wind" that is and not the flipside...wow. Must have sold hundreds if not thousands at a guess if it was classed as a popular oldie back then already. At a guess there are still copies left and yet to surface from Latino households in and around East LA...
