Rob's Ok.... One of my trips to the Uk I was introduced to him via a mutual friend. I had just scored a handfull of RUBYs on Gold Token (dead stock!) and brought a couple along for some trade. Rob offered me the DREAM TEAM Im not satisfied straight across for 2 RUBYs. He explained it was worth over 1000 pounds, so I did it, cause I TRUSTED HIM. 2 months later, well, we all know what happened to the DREAM TEAM... Rob (to this day) refused to amend that deal. Thanks Rob. Yeah ok I'll send my unreleased LITTLE WILLIE JOHN 1968 capitol LP acetate over next so you "can make it big" even though you said it came out on CD (I've still yet to see it, BTW.) NEVER had any trade problems w/ James. Ever. Real facts, folks... Maybe you can answer to this, Rob?

2 months ago, a local antique/estate dealer I frequent was dealing with Bobby Day's family, and sold me over 20 hours of personal reel to reel tapes recorded at Bobby's own studio, and masters I have yet to identify... They all range from the early 60's to mid 70's, are moldy and frail, so they are all being transferred to digital right now as we speak by a veteran engineer here in Los Angeles. It is costing me thousands (no kidding), but as I listened to some of these tapes at the lab, MY JAW DROPPED.. It HAS to be done , so it is. Its worth doing. They were heading for the trash, no lie. There will be some very nice new discoveries in this stuff; its just gonna take a few months to sort it all out. I will keep my fellow soulies posted as progress is made. VERY exciting stuff... Picked this up last weekend, but dunno who it is... It didnt come with a record when I bought it. The back is all blank with the Columbia logo in the upper left corner, and the bottom right has Marcas. Reg.printed in USA etc. Thats it! Can any of you out there tell me what record this was promoting? Thanks in advance!
