I can't understand why this was booted so many times, I can think of 4 boots - vinyl, styrene with same design as vinyl, red label styrene and then another yellow styrene with very plain design (from the people who bought you Mary Saenz, Belmonts, Carlettes, Dawn, Morris Chestnut etc). First time I ever went to Wigan this might just have been the biggest sound of the night, within 3 weeks it was booted and dropped...so why someone would press it in 1977 is hard to fathom. You are right there, but thats because ridiculous prices in guides for common records make people think they have more moneys worth than they really do - example, someone was selling a Majestics Strange World on here the other day and quoted a book price of £80, now everyone knows that record isn't worth more than £20 but they see it in a book for £80 so they are going to want at least half that. meanwhile, no dealer would buy it even at £20 because it's impossible to sell.

Usually the only reason for unclaimed payments is that the email was typed in incorrectly, I've been waiting for people to take their money and it turns out they never even got notification cos I might have put one wrong letter in or similar

He's not the only one who can grade records properly and supply next day delivery though, 95% of all orders I get go out the same day.

It's dead easy to save them - theres a youtube downloader, then you just convert them. Obviously this isn't a problem forme as I've got the originals anyway. Just guts me a bit to think after loads of these\artists finally got to see themselves after decades, they probably tell their friends and families that they are up on youtube - and now they aren;t. Last week I sent 2 dvd's to Charles Hodges family, showing him on The Beat in 1965, he wasn't aware of their existence. Anyway, looks like it's all ater under the bridge now, it's done and there's nothing we can do about it. Anyone wanting the clips of course can get them directlyfrom me

Yeah I've got everything - but only in it's original format i.e. on either dvd or vhs. So first I have to get it from the dvd to the pc using an editing program, then you have to turn the clip into an mp4, and then upload it, and the wholeprocess takes - on average - about 25 minutes per clip. So multiply that by 250 and you can see why I'd be reticent to start all over again. Also, you know you say I could host them, but what would we use to play them without youtube's player? It's a lot easier for me to sell a full set of the beat or a compilation of shindig clips or ed sullivan clips on dvd!

All of you know I can do these on compilation dvd's but I'm afraid I have to charge for this and certain people on here don't like me to make money from 40 year old tv appearances

I just don't understand why records sell for up to ten times more than what anyone else sells them for when they go into the auction. Is it because there are hundreds of utterly clueless punters? If so, like you say, why don't they buy from us? Or are people bragging about how much they paid for a record? There's nothing clever about paying twice as much for a record as someone else.
