  1. Yeah it's a good one. This isn't credited to Rodd Keith and I think it's only on an LP, I'll tell everyone what it is once I've found a copy for myself!

Well they let david Bowie use his appearance as a promo for Fame and Golden years and for the remix of Fame a few years back

  6. You know what, when I was\watching this earlier,on the gene chandler track you can hear me clap at just the right moment where he sings "I can take care of myself" LOL
  7. In 1993 I was made redundant so I had to sell my beloved UK labels record collection. This was 4 years before I had a computer so I couldn't scan the records as a memento so I thought I would just video the label and play a clip of the track...and basically that's what this is. Some will say it's sad, but at least I have a permanent record of the old collection. There's 4 parts to this film, this is part 1. Wait til you see the London label section

It's got to be Gloria Mike. I'm pretty sure I had the first copy of that, when the song poem website went up originally there was a link to about 100 songs, I went through them all, came to that one, thought "hello", went on ebay and unbelievably I found one in about 3 days, I think there's only been one since!

Not surprising once you hear these lyrics but as far as I know this is the only known copy - John Manship was unaware of it - no doubt 10 people will now say they've got a copy but have a listen anyway. The thing with these records, they turned customers poems into records, so that explains why the lyrics are so bad. Still a storming backing track though eh?
