  1. Very hard going selling Northern. Switching to reggae again for a bit - sold 6 albums for over £600 this weekend. Probably irreplaceable but needs must, besides, put them on cd so no great loss. Will probably put all unsold northern on ebay at half price.

    Joss Stone
  3. Thats a bit strange - I sold him mine as well, about the same time - made me an offer I couldn't refuse - mine was the lower case one, different to Hippo's, I'd never seen that one before he put a scan up

Seeing as youre selling a lot of records today, or attempting to, list some reggae and I'll buy 'em

I love jungle. Don't like drum and bass though. Weird eh.
  9. Don't ask me, yesterday it was Ken Boothe!
  10. Just wondered what anyone thought of this - poor recording though - sounds like it might turn into a good beat ballad....if you click on the link below and then choose number 40 you can hear a bit Ken Boothe

p.s. James I would advise you to take this off the list before it kicks off, just PM me if you've got something to say and I'll be happy to correspond with you, rather than make everyone else watch this display

If you want to play with the adults you'd best be able to back your big mouth up sunshine.

No, he thinks he's Mr Soul.
  20. I'd have bought that compilation - it's terrific. None of those choices would appear on a 30 tracker of my own but still great stuff. Except Lou Kirton. Oh and that Antellects record is an overrated pile of cack.
  21. I think only you got it mate, nice one, time to change it now it's been rumbled

Your arrogance absolutely amazes me at times. How can you possibly say that the record is not known? Do you know the contents of every person in the UK's collection? There are so many people not known to the general 'scene' who have ultra rare records, unassuming types who don't go around bragging about what they've got and what they haven't got. You know f*ck all.
  23. Martin - what an absolutely fantastic site. Well done mate!
  24. Ady without doubt the booklets and sleeve notes are worth the price of admission on their own, I wasn't saying that, I just meant Goldmine did a Mirwood 22 tracker or something and odd tracks have been slipping out on cd's for years that's all, I was just a bit surprised to hear Kent were putting out Mirwood material. I thought of one that hadn't ever been reissued in any guise whatsoever but I'm not sure if it's 'real' - the instrumental of Don't Pretend without the added Simon Soussan strings on top. I have this on a very old emidisc but it would be nice to hear a great recording of it.
