Extremely Dodgy?
It would, and I'd bid on it except everything about the ad is terrible, the title, the description, the photo, and you'd imagine he's never packed a record before either!

Oops yes that might help https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/music-7-vinyl-/320925090328?pt=UK_Records&hash=item4ab8a04218#ht_500wt_1415 the writing on the feedback is identical to that on the listing, all lower case, what a mug

Extremely Dodgy?
Sorry this isn't a soul 45 but might be worth a look at, it sold last week for £51 but is up for sale again now starting at £50, same copy, same scan Yet feedback was left for the first one, by a bidder with zero feedback, for a seller with zero feedback. Surely this is the seller bidding on his own record under a second username and leaving feedback for himself?

Nice Charity Shop Find
Gene I think both might have been released to cash in on Kiki Dee having a little success on Elton John's Rocket label in 73/74. Though the MFP one might have already been planned as part of their big Motown reissue series.

Sorry Tone, didn't know you had any mates no but seriously, when I first heard this, absolutely totally unknown and the chap who had it collected beat, so as a swap I actually gave him The Craig on Fontana for it you can have my demo when I sell it in a few weeks though if you want it

Many's The Slip The Present Phillips Or Mercury
1977 legal reissue, someone must have had their finger on the pulse there because they also reissued Susan Farrar on the same label after only about 4 weeks of plays. Also Chalfontes previously.

Good find Ian, I absolutely loved the French Fries and I still do, one of these days I'll post up a Wigan tape I recorded off the balcony and when this comes on you should hear the feet stomping to it, so loud you think it's clapping!

I think Dora Hall had very minor plays. The Anita Bryant, I've never heard played out, but it would only be played as an "ender" anyway. As the person who was responsible for introducing the general public to this record, I take all the blame. Patti Page was definitely played as a cheaper alternative to the Teddy Randazzo version. But it's never about the artist, it's about what comes out of the grooves, otherwise Northern Soul would have no Dana Valery, Rufus Lumley etc.

Every copy has that. My most abiding memory of this is buying two copies from the record bar at Wigan, about two months apart, both were £8 each, ah those were the days.

News: Colin Curtis - Too much to Swallow.
There's a lot of "legends" made come backs over the last 15 years, Ian Levine, John Vincent two name two, would they ever dream of playing off cd's because their "legendary status" gives them a free pass of some sort? Of course they wouldn't. What's the point of booking anyone playing Northern oldies off cd's, at least go to the effort of borrowing the records off someone else.

All the top dj's played Rain because it was catchy and great to dance to. I'd still play it now, great record.

Probably only about £50 mate because it's very hard to sell. Very rare, but not much demand. (Probably books at double my vaulation though)
