  1. I just found this. Always thought she had a really soulful voice, but this just shows what a fabulous looker she was too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzvalU_XL5I...ated&search=
  2. This is the same guy I warned you all about last time these two records were for sale. His grading is very suspect, and he wouldn't refund my money on the 45 that I bought off him. I'll bet these records were returned by the buyers. I'm telling you, he ain't a nice guy, and I won't do business with him ever again. DODGEY!!!!
  3. PM'd you Trev
  4. Just get the buyer to send back the record. Otherwise do nothing. If it comes back then re-emburse him/her. And next time send special delivery, or recorded.

--> QUOTE(Mike B @ Apr 20 2007, 11:30 PM) link To be honest Nev I can't see the prices these sell for being ficticious - its no secret John charges fifteen percent to auction your records and the majority of the records he auctions are not his but other peoples, there would be no point in him 'creating a price' because it would mean he would earn nothing from the sale, which would have already used up some of his webspace for the previous three weeks or so. Since John started bringing out his books he really has become a global brand name and probably attracts more people to his site than anyone else. Certainly I know who some of the bidders are on his auctions even when they have usernames and they are genuine collectors. The other thing is that John will take trades against auction items so some bidders will go higher than usual because of the trades they can put in against the final price.... just my take on it all! Cheers Mike Absolutely right Mike. I have both bought and sold records off John's auction, and have been very happy with the service. Totally straight. Phil.
  6. No worries for getting in Brian, I'll make sure that you get a card anyway, it's just an aid for the door staff.
  7. One of my favourite of Butch's one off spins. Don't think anyone else has it. Gorgeous tune.
  8. Hello Mark, when are you coming to do a spot at Burnley then? Still waiting to hear from you.

You didn't win the Cynthia on J.M's auction then Trev Bloody rare 45 that mate, bet no one on here has it. Can do you the Barbara Jean & Lyrics version.
  10. Thanks Kevin, I'm stuck at work unfortunately, I'll reply when I get home.
  11. Hello Kevin, Many thanks, yes I recieved the file. I'm waiting to collar Joans hubby Tony, to explain to me how to print them, and hopefully borrow a laminating machine. Do you have the technology to try different colours out? I printed a couple of samples off and they look a bit bland. [not as bright as on the screen] just a thought, I would like to see different colours to compare the visual impact. I was thinking purple or claret? Anyway, I'm very greatful for your help, thanks again. Phil.
  12. Updated.
  13. updated, still some great stuff here.
  14. Isn't that the pub at the side of the river Nene? Was down there a few years ago fishing a national championship. Went in there every night for dinner, great food. Wish there had been some soul on the menu then...... Like I said the food was great, fishing was crap, unless you were on the embankment. I wasn't.
  15. I was going to say that the Hull release is deffo the original. The up down sounds like a rough bodge up with fog horns. I agree with Chalky, both shite.
  16. Hurah! bring it on, it's about time. Problem is, those ebay charges are still going to make selling very expensive. I wish Google would take them on there too.
  17. What a fantastic tune, a Cliff Camfield spin at Burnley, I was just out bid on the one on ebay a while ago. BEAUTIFUL! Was it covered up as Joey Kingfish at one time? Phil.
  18. There's actually a lot of night clubs in the area, and it was just so that the door staff would know who was genuine, and who was just trying to get in for a late drink.
  19. That looks fantastic Kevin. Will I be able to reduce the size to credit card measurements? Just thinking that people need to be able to store them in their wallets. Phil.
  20. I've pm'd you Kev.
  21. Thanks very much for the offer Kev, don't think it'll be anything too fancy. It's just to make life easier for the door staff to identify the allnighter crowd. Phil.
  22. That's just the 20 no.1's so far then Paul.
  23. I need your expertise Joan, I'm still pissing about with the printer and the word program. Think I need to go to get some training. Are you still doing your exams? HELP!
  24. Easy peasy for a techno wiz like you Joan. What about the laminating?
