Went by yesterday. Since google in 2011 someone must have bought it and glued on some nice black and white insta-brick fronting. The psycho coloring is a figment of my camera's imagination. Assuming there are 12 apartments in the building - 4 are supposedly for let so it says in the window. Only $3,799 a month + Maint. Bargain eh! More places nobody can afford to live in. Jules I can see it being a nightmare if they make it mandatory. Though I'm not sure if they can. For the seller it makes it easier in theory but if EB cust serv is anything to go by it will be a cluster of the first water. Not only will it probably cost sellers more but would actively discourage them as the chances of them getting it right are slim. Rod Being as there's nothing anyone can do about it I think people who have no other means to get it will eventually just accept it just as they have to when other things go up. It is a huge bite though. Domestic went up here by 1c, so no big deal.

Again not strictly on topic but I was told by someone I ship to in the UK fairly regularly-maybe not so regularly anymore though- that if you put "Collectors Item" on the customs slip it makes it VAT proof. He doesn't seem to get charged it. True / False? I looked on the Royal Mail site and it didn't say anything.

Mr Smithy, Just another way for Ebay/Paypal to get into your wallet. I'm not sure as I don't sell too much on Ebay at all but do you pay commission on the whole amount including shipping? I was charged VAT/Importation Tax AND a handling charge on the whole amount recently, that included the shipping. Yeah PP takes a piece of it all and there's a few cents FVF on the shipping. That's what I think and they'll make as bigger balls up as they do everything else they get in the middle of. Be a humongous PIA if they make it mandatory. I don't think we should stop offering WW shipping. It's up to the buyer if they want to or not. We should give them the option. It's not as though we can do anything about it.

Not quite on topic but https://announcements.ebay.com/2012/11/attention-sellers-upcoming-program-will-make-selling-internationally-as-easy-as-domestic/ Not sure how it would work, will buyers be responsible for the domestic end & the international? I'm sure EB will make sure and correlate the price we put on the customs and what it actually sold for? It looks like they want to join the PO in collecting for HMCustoms. Any thoughts on this?

Regardless of putting on the full value ( I always put on $5 or $10 ) if you do a fairly sloppy looking ( but solid ) hand made mailer they tend to get stopped a lot less than nice "professional" ones. The Auntie Madge approach. Printed EBay labels have made it harder to make then look homey but if you put them on crooked I think it helps. Been a while since any of mine have been nailed for customs - private sales anyway - Ebay I don't know about, sometimes I ask but rarely get an answer

ive got a few very well collectors ready to follow it. (They dunnit) You're right Pete, funny we never saw it first off. Granted, and there's no reason you should mind, nor do I think you think you are being duped, but surely it only takes 5 mins to sign up , speak your piece and away. A simple thing like "Swedish copy" would have saved all this. If you have to read between the lines on every one of his auctions I wouldn't bother. There are several valid points here that I for one would feel the need to address if it were me. A simple statement such as a) Rod, you're full of it. I have 100% FB and I stand by everything I've done & said. You'll get your money back now stop whining. b) Maybe the picture wasn't the best and the fact that I didn't put Swedish in the description may have led to some confusion. I'll try and be more specific in future. c) Caveat Emptor, It's your job to ask any and all questions and do the research. d) Something else. would be something I would expect to see. Either by him or passed on by one of his collector / followers some of whom must be following this.

Pic sleeve does give a clue, but as to the 45 itself, hard to tell what it is. All his pictures are crappy. I'm not David bailey but I can do better than that, and so should anyone else be able to.

That's what I assume, but we've all "assumed" before. Not really my thing , but none too shabby of its kind. That's why I'm looking for a value before it goes out the door.

I've seen this one about But never this one. Is it the original? Mine looks about a VG but plays pretty clean. Any idea of a value?
