Didnt know there were demos of “heartbreak” too? Also any idea of which came first? I wondered if “heartache” was out first,then tried again with heartbreak due to the first lot being an error or little Richie going off his head at the title! And I think by heartbreak being in such small numbers they had just run out of steam with it? as a separate note Im sure there are copies which say “RITCHIE” not “RICHIE” ?

Im not sure there will be a specific “mainly younger people” soul nite because I doubt it would work economically? However there is something in Manchester run by Jordan Wilson which I imagine attracts a younger crowd,but it’s not just northern soul they play so im told! And there is the happening in Bristol but that’s a bit of a way out! hood this helps 👍 ps…we’re all young at heart 😂

Of “with or without permission” on movement and other 45s? i dont particularly like this harry and vee vee tune,but curious as to who she is?

For me it’s the circle of life,as a kid it was all about the oldies,then it slowed down to the beat ballads and Stafford era type stuff,then came the xover and a bit of modern with a sprinkle of Latin stuff! Now we’re back to the oldies😂 (to which I don’t mind personally) but then I guess it depends what you call an oldie?
