  2. That's one trouser leg taken care of then Phil - what do you do with the other one? Is it reserved for Tweedle Dum?
  3. That Puzzle People 45 is really good - it always reminds me of the Temps in their early 70s period. Steve

Easy answer he should sell it to me.
  5. I think the general conclusion is: - Women in flares can be sexy . -Pete is a shameless exhibitionist -Blokes in baggies are totally "naff"but Night Nurse can wear his baggies and high heels in the bedroom OK as long as he doesn't tell us all about it.
  6. Really looking forward to reading this. Well done Reg!
  7. Actually I thought it was quite a witty reply of mine

  10. Sorry I thought you were a woman There is something sexy about women with big flared (below the knee) trousers. If you are a bloke then God no! Recycle them for your dog basket or something. Keep quiet and close the thread quickly
  11. The Manship guide to bootlegs Edition 3 That'll fox the future generations all right
  12. Wear what you like. As a fashion statement Russ is right, these loon pants with 48" bottoms went out of fashion in the late 70s, unless you're trying to hide really fat legs or something But if you are comfortable in them (and being seen in such things ) - wear 'em.

You're not being negative Russ - he would have to be "primed" and re-taught the words to "1000 Wonders" etc.
  16. Yes OK and this one came and went very quickly at Wigan. As Tony says it was more expensive than most of the boots in Russ's booth, and it was a case of now you see it now you don't. Deffo 77 Pete.

Well I was around, but did neglect the 60s a bit too much in favour of 70s 80s and I do regret that.

The 80s was a great decade as others have said. It's the 70s boys and gals who got married and left the scene who refer to it as the 'lost decade'. To me it was a very exciting decade soul scene wise.
