I think it's been an interesting thread in all honesty. Bit miffed we've not seen evidence of the existance of the JDM Tower issue. However the existance is beyond doubt and the seller has worked the system well - had his hand bitten off at half price and what buyer would want a scan posted, promting "I'll give you double" pm's.. A scan will turn up one day.

Get it right Ian Pete-s (mod) quoted me, I posted Paul's activity as I was miffed he was schtuming up. All is clear now, he didn't break any rules. I don't think Nev is a twat, nor is it necessary for you to refer to him as such. He was just in the dark about it, like everybody else. The owner of this ultra rare tower issue know's about this thread. be a sport like so many of our mates are and show us what we wanna see, there's a good lad!

I agree with what you say Nige. I don't doubt Paul's credentials, enough reputable people have vouched for him. I think this was handled poorly, very poorly. Ian Seaman seems to be rejoicing that it's gone and no scan will be forthcoming. Scan or no scan, yeah Ebay would have been a better bet imo.

That doesn't read to well in a public forum to be honest. If it's all so secret squirrel then why not just pm a few would be interested parties and see what the interest was/is? That wasn't done - a public sales post was made with no scan. What's the big deal on getting a scan ffs? How far would you get on Ebay with this record and no scan?

I thought similar from Rob Bailey this morning. Then received the message below from Carl Stopforth from the FB group The Action 'Kings of Kentish Town' The reason why this group exists? The Action weren't just good, they where very good! Lets reflect on the music they made and the wonderful voice of Reg King, one of the many reasons why The Action still mean so much to so many people. R.I.P Reg King!

Sad news Reg King lead singer of 60's mod group The Action has sadly passed away aged 65. R.I.P Reggie.

Pretty funky! Don't wanna diss Saturday, those boys had their hands full all night with let down sound engineers, townie arseache and yeah, more than enough to worry about. Musically wide of the mark for me though I did have a step about when eduardo spun my old George Tinley number. That was the only record I danced to thoughy. Normally there, I would expect to be out on the floor for a significant chunk of the night. Hmm. Or to look at it another way ... More and more dj's are buying into the emporer's new clothes style of music and I can hear them all groan and look at the ceiling saying this and that about fresh & new and 'tired old stompers etc... Fuck that! Northern Soul is Northern Soul and Funky New Northern Funk Soul Shite ISN'T.. Sorry but for me it falls way short of what we used to call northern soul. I think events should have a 'funky' disclaimer on them if that is going to be their policy, so I'll know to avoid them. Nice! Though have you got a slightly larger scan? I can't quite make that one out .. If it's rare white demo's your after, don't come much rarer than this!
