DreamTeam was £50 or £75 weren't they on Shifty's list, didn't he buy what was left?

What's Clara Hardy fetching now? I know the price dropped with a bump from the £1000 plus it was selling but I know of copies sold for around £400 even after the quantity find was known about, personally wouldn't give no more than £75/£100 for it. 100 copies will have an affect for a while but once they've gone and demand is again greater than supply the price will rise again.

  5. I asked Rita who the Tiaras were....
  6. I was thinking the same when I saw Atlantic this morning?
  7. I did the original listing. The original article done for Shades of Soul is in my blog.
  8. Wasn't too hard. Trying to get Rita to come on here, she's read the topic but couldn't see how to reply. She says she has a copy (albeit scratchy) that she's willing to sell.
  9. Rita Graham is the vocalist on GWTWIML for sure. Here is her reply......
  10. I've listened but not convinced yet so I've e-mailed Rita Graham, she should confirm one way or the other
  11. I've not listened yet Mr T and don't doubt it really, just threw me a bit when "confirmed" as Rita Graham as sure I'd read differently. Will have a listen later.
  12. I was just thinking the same

  14. Just looked it up from the Dore Rare Masters Vol 1&2 sleeve notes. It was Lew Bedell who remembered little about Rita other than she was Italian/American.
  15. I thought I read sometime ago that Lou didn't know who Rita was but was sure she was of Italian origin? Must be getting mixed up with someone else. I'll have a listen to both later.

nice one, I looked for this last night but couldn't see it.

I did look about a year or so ago and sure I saw one on either here or some other forum sell for around £200. Certainly seen it for more than £100 away from auctions.

Its worth more than that IMHO. There's only two on popsike, one $170 or so (2004) and on just over a £100 (2007). Forget what I paid for mine, that was off ebay but wasn't either these two I mention. There is another version but it's poor in comparison IMHO, search for the title there's a topic on here couple of months ago. I didn't know of the other version at the time.
  19. I got on there and got 'em to play ok. Still looking for the hottest northern soul records though and to be honest there's nothing that probably isn't on here already.
  20. I gave it some spins at early Lifelines as well. Think everyone I've seen have labels reversed.

sounds like his unissued Mayfield Singers.

your right Terry we do have the right to complain or moan through these forums but all too often it gets personal and again more often than not it goes beyond a moan. IMO that can do more to put people off what someone is in favour of rather than encourage. Again we do know who the dodgy f*ckers are but all to often they are left alone to continue doing what they do, god knows why, down the town they'd have a good f*cking hiding

my comment wasn't a reflection on everyone as you probably know but far too often I've gone to an across the board venue and it's far from it, basically as I described above.
