  2. I'm not sure on this one,
  3. There is some more post on the forum somewhere with the link on it that takes you to the website,
  4. Now can somebody PLEASE tell me who Joy Lovejoy is? link
  5. Afternoon of the Rhino if I remember used to be played quite closely with Night of the wolf, at I think, Bradford (Queens Hall) Many, many years ago, and I used to get the two mixed up Not into instrumentals too much, as I prefer a good old heartbreaking vocal..... but they do sound like TV show themes from the 7ts, bet they would have been used in the "love boat" at sometime or other or what was that other programme, had that little guy on it Tatoo who said "the plane, the plane"
  6. .... Me thinks he is a poorly bunny at the moment Mark
  7. I think it is fun still Mark especially for the "not so big" venues that are around the place, its about keeping it real and what its about, not making vast amounts of money. Corporate companies loose sight of that concentrating on the profit side of it, whereas the smaller venues tend to concentrate on the music and the atmosphere (as it should be) But this sort of thing that has happened to Junction 11 is deplorable, and the unwritten rules have been broken on this one...
  8. Here, here Mark, Never got to junction 11, but heard that it was a cracking venue. I really do hope that whatever and whoever has taken this over fails miserably and that the the owners of the old venue loose lots of money..
  9. Who are the new promotors for this venue then? I did read it but not sure who they mean, any clues anyone?

So what were all you lot dancin too at the youth club and school disco in the glory days of the 7ts?? The invitations and sking in the snow is a true classic, alot, lot lot better than the commercial wigans ovation one, but it did get a few new young faces into the northern scene way back then and quite a few of those faces are still here So dont be too harsh on the feather cut, spencer, polyveldt wearing times guys... Besides which nothing is as bad as the Footsie hugs and kisses all xxxxxxx

  16. Yeah true enough Ian see where you are coming from on this, niteclub rates round here are £2.50 for a bottle of volvic.... Robbing gits
  17. But saying that when I do ask for water it always sounds like Bacardi
  18. If you look into human rights issues I think you will find your answers.... and it is a legal requirement that water is freely available as previously mentioned. Also if the seal is unbroken on bottled water they have no legal right to confiscate it. I work within a secure unit and deal with issues such as this all the time
  19. Mr B We wouldn't want to break anything again now would?
  20. How cool is that? nice one
  21. Excellant way to have a party, we do it quite often here, last time was at the daughters 11th Birthday party, after the usual "chart stuff", out came the northern til about 3am, neighbours next door both in their early 7ts said they prefer "our music" to that of other neighbours across the road who had a barbie and was playing "banging music" The elderly couple then stated ours sounded "more mellow"
  22. Does anybody know of anybody who has made it through the auditions for the film yet. link
  23. I think he wrote (or some one did) it cos his girlfriend died/ or got killed and then he took to the road, to escape the heartbreak and the loss... "Out of my arms and left me to wander" Thats so sad
