Turnpikes - Used But Not Abused
Turnpikes - Cast a Spell (Capitol) SOLD Used but definitely not abused copy of this monster (also great mid-tempo flip) Lots of very light scratches as per attached photo, but plays really well - a good 'Ex' sound-wise I would say, loud and clear Doesn't turn up very often so would like £80 plus postage (£2.50 1st Class recorded or £7.00 special delivery) but happy to consider decent offers Paypal as gift. Full refund if not completely happy. PM if interested Cheers, Chris. Turnpikes Photo.pdf

Great photo - wonder how he ended up in Mansfield?!- Majik - Back Into Your Heart (Hi)
Great reaction last week to my thread about High Frequency - Summertime, thanks Any similar memories of this one? Who played it / when / where / played recently? Right on the money for the early 80's revival IMO (albeit from 1979!):-- Wilson Pickett - Funky Broadway
- High Frequency - Summertime (Nia)
Brilliant, thanks Sean Just need to remember where I read it was played in M's now- High Frequency - Summertime (Nia)
Reckon you got a bargain there Mal- High Frequency - Summertime (Nia)
What early 80's sounds are getting played?- High Frequency - Summertime (Nia)
Thanks Sean - anyone else confirm?- High Frequency - Summertime (Nia)
Hadn't heard this before - do like it but doesn't kick arse for me the same way HF does - anyone else?- High Frequency - Summertime (Nia)
The only 45 I could find was on here recently as 'offers'. Can't find the one Mal saw on ebay. Seem to be plenty of 12's around but not many 7's- High Frequency - Summertime (Nia)
I like the 12" too though can see the 7" is the one for niter play What value on a 7"? Several copies of both the red and the gold 12" versions currently on discogs etc for under £100 but no 7" Anyone know why two label colours? Both are NIA 1004 and both apparently originals, though presumably one a first pressing Wonder where I read it had been played at M's?- High Frequency - Summertime (Nia)
Did you get the 45 Mal? What did you pay for it? Seems to be rarer than the 12"- High Frequency - Summertime (Nia)
Brilliant, thanks Arthur - so presumably you were playing it at Clifton Hall? A Wigan tune at all? As mentioned I seem to recall reading it was played in M's- High Frequency - Summertime (Nia)
Belting tune - memories? Seem to recall reading it was played at Wigan / M's - anyone confirm? Presumably the 7" rather than 12"? Great 12" mix though Also on a Dave Thorley Stafford playlist on Chalky's website Cheers, Chris.- Carol & Gerri - How Can I Ever Find The Way / On You Heartache Looks Goo
Now sold for £140 thanks!- Carol & Gerri - How Can I Ever Find The Way / On You Heartache Looks Goo
For info the light on the photo makes the scuff on the 'How can I' side look worse than it is- Carol & Gerri - How Can I Ever Find The Way / On You Heartache Looks Goo
Used but definitely not abused copy - quite a few scuffs and marks under a bright light but both sides still play well, 'Heartache' side marginally cleaner sounding on my system Have tried to photograph to show vinyl -see attachments below Happy to refund if not 100% happy £140 or reasonable offer Paypal as gift plus £7 special delivery post.
