  1. A few more bits up for sale, all real quality stuff. Shipping from Sweden, payment by Paypal. Payment as friends & family is not needed, though it may help if you want to haggle prices:) Thanks for looking, Carl Hesitations - Is this the way to treat a girl - GWP. M-, top copy, looks and plays terrific. Stone classic crossover! £90 Sapphire - How've you been getting along - Blue Ash. Top drawer sweet soul, and hard to find. Remember buying this from the late Bob A and him being pissed about nobody giving this 45 the appreciation it deserves. Not the prettiest copy, lots of surface marks but no deep scratches. Ballad side has surface noise on intro, but plays quite well overall, only some sporadic light crackle. Funk flip sounds crackly. Ring wear on labels. Listen to this actual copy here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DY5JRAmppeE Looking for £200 or best offer. Eunice Collins - At the hotel - Mod Art. VG++ to M-, but pressing is lo-fi, so there's a few crackles despite looking pretty much perfect. This copy has clean labels (see photo below), unlike many others sold which look quite bad. £475 or near offer. SOLD Ballads - Butterfli - Balja. M-, top copy. £30 Sharen Clark & The Product of Time - I'm not afraid of love - Yodi. VG condition, plenty of surface marks but only a couple of small feelable marks. "I'm not afraid" plays well, just a little light crackle. Flipside "Mama" has a few pops in the start, then plays well. Minor WOL both sides. £35 Heywood Cash - You’re messing up a good thing - Epic. Real classy 70s, IMO the best version of this tune. VG++. £100 SOLD Sonics - Find myself another girl - Valmon. Texas northern, very rare and very good indeed. Still not widely known, I believe. Nice copy, between VG+ and VG++, plays beautifully with just two really faint pops midway. Promo stamp on labels. £700 ono. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEFIW4aWQtY Sharon McMann - Got to find another guy - Karen. Awesome Detroit northern! Nice VG++ vinyl, a few very light marks, plays superb. Neat WOLs, bit of wear around center hole on A-side. £600 ono https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHSO5rkUY1Y Sly, Slick & Wicked - Sho nuff b/w Ready for you - People (purple label vinyl copy, not styrene). Two great crossover sides. VG++. £80 Vernon Steve Weakley - Is it love or is it lust - VSW. Sweet soul beauty. VG++, very clean. £25

VG++ to M-, but pressing is lo-fi, so there's a few crackles despite looking pretty much perfect. This copy has clean labels (see photo below), unlike many others sold which look quite bad. £500 or near offer. Mandells - Think back - Trans World Sound. NM on Think back, VG++ on flip. Drill hole and slight label wear (see photo below). £175 ono. SOLD Symphonic Four - Who do you think you’re fooling - Zudan. Lovely copy, pretty much like new. Selling this for a mate who is looking for £225 ono. Thanks for looking, Carl
  3. Selling these quality 45s. Shipping from Sweden, payment by Paypal. Johnnie Mae Matthews - Lonely you’ll be - Jam. Big, bold Detroit , fab dancefloor stuff. M- on Lonely, VG++ on flip. £110 ono SOLD Brothers of Soul - Dream/Candy - Shock (orange label). VG++ except for a minimal mark causing one pop and one light click on Dream. £140 ono - instead of the $500 Moerer is currently asking:) ON HOLD Sharen Clark & The Product of Time - That's a good reason - Yodi. M-, like new. £150 ono SOLD Thanks for looking, Carl

  6. Yeah, so many Teddy monsters! In addition to those previously mentioned, Somebody told me, Heaven only knows, and The whole town’s laughing at me are obviously all-time classics. Lots more mileage in this.
  7. Is that UK/Euro only or is there a US 45 on PIR?
  8. Pretty much impossible to make a top ten, too much good stuff to choose from. I forgot to include Intruders - Hang on in there. That one was actually released as a 45, on Gamble though.
  9. Ok, it's a tough one, but something like this for me: Archie Bell & The Drells - Don't let love get you down Teddy Pendergrass - When somebody loves you back Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes - Bad luck Jones Girls - This feeling's killing me O'Jays - Back stabbers Silk - I can't stop turning you on Anthony White - Never let you get away from me Ebonys - Do you like the way I love you Jean Carn - Time waits for no one Futures - Ain't no time fa nothing Such a load of fantastic tunes on the label, looks like PIR afternoon at home when I get off work:)

  12. I would say you could sell quite a few easily at £500.
  13. Excellent playlists, and good to see Wayne at it again.
  14. Looks like another wonderful day at H&G. Hope to make it over in the summer. Have you got the dates set?
  15. Think the new LP is really good for the most part, well worth getting.
  16. Maybe Bill LaBounty - I hope you'll be very unhappy without me?
  17. Pete is Stockholmsoulfox on here.
  18. That would be him.
  19. Yup, was good indeed. Some superb music played as well, which you contributed very well to!
  20. Myself and Pete Shirley (2/3 of the Family Circle - Jens was excused this time) decided to do an alldayer in a small Stockholm bar and invite a few friends. 21. Roburt: Ok, then I understand how you mean. Bit like re-edit vs remix in how the terms are used, sometimes referring to the same thing.
  22. Ended at 800-something, so if it did at all go up from £813, it wasn't a lot.
