A brief intro...
Back in the 70's I was a regular at Cleo's, Samanthas, Nottm Palais etc but stopped going when the scene showed alarming signs of going 'disco' in the late 70's. I was an occasional visitor to the Penine in Derby but not much more since then. Then 18 months ago I met my partner Jo on Mismatch.com, she was rather reluctant to meet until we discovered a shared love of Northern and I dug my records out of the garage and played her a few over the phone, since then we usually pitch up to a soul night each weekend. This bloody music's got a lot to answer for haha!
