So the New Year is with us and Tip Top Soul Club Rare and Underplayed will be having it first of six events this month Friday 28 January at Broomleys Cricket Club, Blackwood Road, Coalville, Leicestershire LE67 4RF. We start at 20.00 – 00.30 and with our Resident DJs Rob Gray, Ralph Forster and our three guest for this month are from Birmingham Mr John Weston & Mr Lee Fletcher (Coalville) and Les Norman. It wasn’t until late 80’s when I came back to the fold, that I heard it at Leicester (Holy Cross Soul Nights run by Rudzy). Glenn Knight played it alongside “Just Can’t Trust Nobody” Chuck Holiday on Gloria 😇
