Fred Hughes - Walk On Back To You - Exodus - Yes we play oldies, Chicago dynamite...what a voice! The Exceptionals - Unlucky Girl - GRT - This has The Orwell written all over it upstairs or down! The Soul Notes - How Long Will It Last - Way Out - I can see Mr Plumb moving and a grooving already and we ain't even got there yet....lol Shelley Fisher - "Girl I Love You" - Dalya - Move over Mr Green theres room in the Soul Shack for two great versions of a brilliant song.............mmmmmmmmmmmm The Ethics - I Want My Baby Back - Vent - No need to stand in the darkness at The Orwell with tunes like this, well overdue for going massive............tune!!! Exsaveyons - I Don't Love You No More - Smoke - George Blackwell was a genious could sing a bit too, produced this for his own label out of Newark, New Jersey, another Stafford type record that has yet to have it's day on the scene............................. DVD'd young Mr Bicknell's show last night - went to listen to it and it was two hours of fookin silence Solar's signal wasn't on me telly! Everything else was fine except the Solar signal..................anyone else have the same problem???? Cheers Steve

Hi All For all those going to the Tower this weekend, i'd just like to let you know i'll have a record stall in the Hornpipe Lounge. The main Northern dealers will be in the Main Ballroom but the dealers who normally frequent the Modern Room at Fleetwood will be in The Hornpipe too! I'll have lots of original Northern & Modern 45s with me and some cracking 60's & 70's Soul Albums. The cheap box will be out in force too - this only sees light of day twice a year so there's bound to be goodies in there too! Hope to see some of you over the weekend Cheers Steve Plumb

The Orwell has played it occasionally over the years Chris? Maybe not as often as it deserves though! It takes the both of us.......not on their LP and there's a couple of killers on their LP which didn't make it to 45 too! Super stuff Cheers Steve
