Is This The Best Spin Ever?
Mel, Different strokes for different yolks I mostly dress to the modern side now however I don't think I'll ever tire of certain things that take me back to my Wigan days. Cheers, Sean

Shortest Northern Track
I know it's not the shortest but I always remember at Wigan Richard Searling announcing at the end of The Ellingtons - Destined to become a loser, "after that 2mins 10 secs of pop now back to some soul!!"

Value Please
Thanks for the feedback guys, however I'm a bit confused as JM has it booked at £40, the concensus on here is between £30-£50 but JM has one on his site for £150. Has it really increased that much in value? Thanks, Sean

Least Memorable/most Disappointing Live Soul Act
Archie Bell at Wigan, 1978 I think, what a downer!! (or was that the Duramin) Only livened up when the guy from Leeds (Robin Hood?) got up on stage and danced with them.

Dean Parish On Radio 2
Agree with Brian J this really was a great interview from a truly passinate guy. I've got it recorded on Sky+ so if anyone wants a copy on DVD just drop me a PM. The bit when Dean and Pete Mitchell are trying to find the site of the Peppermint Lounge in New York and find that it's now a car park and Dean says just like Wigan Casino I thought was priceless. Also his quote after the Cleethorpes show "they took it away (in the sixties) and now it's been given back" Fantastic!! Sean
