Had a play and you're spot on , the M jumps right out and the typeface is crispy ...

Obvious grey area I admit , personally speaking setting the time/date is the first thing I do when setting up a new camera body .

The original post on the subject was 28th May 2015 . The datestamp on the accompanying photo details show that it was taken over two years earlier .... ?

And on the original images posted on page 1 the labels are clearly lifting and bubbled.

And the typeface is subtly different too up close , no nice crisp corners as I'd expect to see on an "old'un" ... ! Hope he didn't pay too much for it ...

Just pulled the larger image of Ian's off his FB page , can see no obvious evidence of the underlying stamp on it ...

Need a better quality image , can't enlarge a small JPEG like that without it getting too 'blocky' to see clearly.

It seems to be on the 1st Harry Moon image too , harder to see on the other images but I'll try a little tweaking ...

Hi Chalky , All three of those scans you just posted appear to have the underlying MIS CO stamp , as per the Ra-Sel Magnetics ... have highlighted them here ...

It would be great to see these old magazines scanned and added to an archive somewhere here on Soul Source for all to read ...

Problem is that probably 60% of the crap for sale on ebay is trashy chinese counterfeit , but obviously not advertised as such ... the price is usually the big giveaway ... there's so much money to be made from these items that ebay aren't interested in policing such a vast 'industry of tat'.

No-one's accusing you of making or selling the boots Pete , all folk would like is a list of the titles and if possible a scan of the labels for future reference. You know as well as I do that at some point these are going to appear for sale , not from you but from someone somewhere for whatever reason . Surely it can only benefit the majority of us poor uninformed souls to have the details on record so's to speak to help prevent future scams ... ?

So is it fair to assume that the bootlegs are coming from Ian Levine then ... ? ... these things being so exclusive but he can dole out 14 just like that ... !
