Yes we are back again for our Fifth Anniversary at the Guildhall in St Ives, Cornwall. After been cancelled for the last two years due to the Covid 19 pandemic, This amazing soul on wax event has gone from strength to strength over the past five years and has been named by soul fans as the best Northern Soul weekend in the South West. The location of the event is just amazing! Situated in the heart of beautiful St Ives at the very retro style building which is St Ives Guildhall. St Ives offers it's visitor and holidaymakers seven fabulous beaches to choose from and an idyllic traditional seaside town full of pubs, restaurants and shops offering a wide range of retail products. The event consists of one welcome night on Friday and two all-dayers on Saturday and Sunday. Most soul people seem to turn this weekender into a mini holiday and stay for the entire week to discover some of the delights beautiful Cornwall has to offer. The Newquay soul weekender is back! Soul On Wax present, A fabulous weekend featuring across the board soul music at the Legacy Hotel Victoria in wonderful Newquay, Cornwall. This weekender offers you a more chilled out vibe than our sister event. The Soul On Wax team takes over the delightful Legacy Victoria Hotel for a full weekend of soul music. The music policy is across the board and the DJ's we have selected are not afraid to mix it up a little from the normal. Yes, you will get all of your favourites over the weekend but also some new, rare and fresh tunes to your ears! Due to the covid pandemic most of the hotel rooms at Legacy Victoria Hotel have already SOLD OUT as they have been carried over from last years cancelled event. Newquay offers lots of alternative accommodation close to the event, the closest hotels are the Griffin Inn, Travelodge - Newquay Sea Front, Premier Inn Newquay (Seafront) hotel and the Best Western. There are also hundreds of B&B's in Newquay offering prices to suit all budgets. Event tickets cost just £30 per person for the whole weekend and are not included in hotel room deals.
