Do I Love You (Indeed I Do) Uncle Nearest Premium American Whiskey Current usa advert Blurb that goes with it Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, the most awarded American whiskey brand of 2019 and 2020 to-date, presents a new commercial featuring the music of legendary Motown writer and producer, Frank Wilson. The song, âDo I Love You (Indeed I Do)," was written and performed by Wilson, and maintains the record as the most expensive Motown vinyl ever sold. Today, we proudly introduce this song to the American public for the very first time. Only 250 demo copies of the 7â vinyl record were ever pressed. As few as two are reported to have survived with the rest being intentionally destroyed when Wilson made the decision to be a Motown producer rather than a singer. It is believed that one of those two vinyls are in the private collection of Motown Records founder Berry Gordy, while the other landed at a famous English Northern soul nightclub in Wigan, England, where the song became a cult classic in the â60s and â70s. Due to its enormous popularity, the album was officially released in the UK in 1979. It is arguably the most popular Northern Soul record of all time and remained No. 1 on the Northern Soul charts as late as 2015. Uncle Nearest CEO and founder Fawn Weaver is the daughter of Wilson. Weaver and the Uncle Nearest brand have become synonymous with uncovering lesser-known stories in American history. In 2017, Weaver introduced the world to Nearest Green through the launch of Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey. A story once lost to time, Weaverâs extensive research revealed that Green, a formerly enslaved man, was the first known African-American master distiller. Today, his name and legacy lives on through this award-winning whiskey and the 270-acre Nearest Green Distillery located in Shelbyville, Tenn.

Roll over Beethoven - The Chess Records Saga Legends Chicago's Chess Records was one of the greatest labels of the post-war era, ranking alongside other mighty independents like Atlantic, Stax and Sun. From 1950 till its demise at the end of the 60s, Chess released a myriad of electric blues, rock 'n' roll and soul classics that helped change the landscape of black and white popular music. Chess was the label that gave the world such sonic adventurers as Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Howlin' Wolf and Etta James. In this documentary to mark the label's 60th anniversary, the likes of Jimmy Page, Mick Hucknall, Public Enemy's Chuck D, Paul Jones and Little Steven, as well as those attached to the label such as founder's son Marshall Chess, pay tribute to its extraordinary music and influence. The film reveals how two Polish immigrants, Leonard and Phil Chess, forged friendships with black musicians in late 1940s Chicago, shrewdly building a speciality blues label into a huge independent worth millions by the end of the 1960s. Full of vivid period detail, it places the Chess story within a wider social and historical context - as well as being about some of the greatest music ever recorded, it is, inevitably, about race in America during these tumultuous times. -

MULTI-PLATINUM ARTIST TO PERFORM AT VINYL CAMBRIDGE A hugely successful musician from the 1990s will be âThinking about your Loveâ this month when he performs at a Cambridge nightspot. Multi-platinum selling artist, Kenny Thomas, will be singing his hits live at Vinyl Cambridge on Saturday 29 February. The singer, who dominated the commercial, soul and album charts in the 90s and is best known for his hit songs Thinking About Your Love and Best of You, will take to the stage to entertain guests and fans. The venue on Sidney Street opened in 2018, following a ÂŁ550,000 investment and offers pre-bookable booths, an illuminated dance floor, glitter balls and guilty pleasure tunes.
