Great,,, oh,and put a stone on...!! Nearly forgot in January was told that even though my heart will never be normal I can lead a normal life, just take tablets every day for the rest of it.

Can remember queueing outside Salisbury pub in Scarborough bank holiday weekends. Talking early seventies here and we'd all be outside and Bub and his mates would walk to the front of the queue jangle the room keys to the guy on the door and walk straight in. They were the only ones that could afford to stay there. Happy Days
  7. In reality some of the small venues cannot afford to book the high priced dj especially those having to pay room hire etc. I like the policy taken by some venues where two guests are booked, one lesser known (9pm ish) and one more established (10:30) the earlier guest dj will have to work harder as the dancers arent as pissed, and if any good will hopefully get a later spot in the future. After Larry Hammond sad Sad ways & the Exciters Reachin' for the Best, The latest version that has the chorus towards the end and not the long long run off that came out on 20century, believe this was redone by Ian Levine as some sort of anniversary record. Dave
