oh yes, we went to scarborough every bank holiday and in the salsbury every dinner and night. Me, mick mcguane, bernie,phil gravill, haggis etc etc. Actually met the wife Pat at Scarborough that weekend in that nightclub upstairs that was full of soulies. Richard Cryer was DJ then. THE MOTOWN ROOM All DJS did 2 spots,one early and the other later.The early session gave the djs the chance to "show off" some of the more rare and obscure stuff in their collections and stuff not normally requested.A steady flow of people entered the room and by 1:30 over 200 were in and the requests started to come.The room had a great atmosphere and by 3pm was full (300+) Heres what I can remember playing in my 2 spots.
