  5. We went one in Halifax in the 80ts.and the dj had to turn the volume down because of complaints from the neighbours, wouldn't mind but it was in the town centre, class
  6. Has anybody ever been to a venue that sounded ex, but poorly attended. Me and my wife a couple of yrs ago went from stoke to Wigan courts down in the basement, and the only people there apart from us was the djs and organisers. The tunes were Brill, beer prices good, and you could get on the dancfloor easy. We didn't go back but had a top night chatting and dancing
  7. Queens Hall was great, my wife's fav
  8. It seems to me that the dance floors have come a long way what does anybody think. The one that I remember that was a total bliss, was the memorial hall in Wrexham, that was a soullies dream. The dodgy one was at Blackpool ballroom with loose bits of wood, and my wife went head over heels and broke her wrist

  14. What was anybodys knowledge of there first place they had a dance to the norther tunes, and what was the tune. Mine was TIME by edwin star at the carousel in Plymouth Grove, but I was knackered half way through.
