I paid about £20 for a James Spencer demo. £100 for Syng McGowan but that was cheap, goes for up £150. I think Dee Clark was about £50 or £60, but less if it hasn't got Come Closer on the other side. All about 18 months - 2 years ago.

I remember after the Friday allnighter on a scooter run waiting for your mum to go out so a load of us could sneak in and have a shower & get changed, then another one Sat night. We must have been mad.

No, your memories ok, I used to go to the Friendship Club before the nighters. I've still got a badge somewhere, similar to the Wigan Oldies anniversary badge. I remember getting off the train one Friday night to be met by the Police informing us that the nighter was cancelled. Luckily they kept the Friendship club open till about 2. I think I had a better night that if the nighter had been on, but I was lucky enough to stay at a friends house, lots of others weren't so lucky & ended up kipping in shop doorways. I also went to alldayers at a venue in Arias Park or something like that. Sometime later I went to an Allnighter run by Chris Burton as part of a scooter run.

I used to have it by Jay & Cathy's Clowns, can't remember anything about it now though so it can't have made much impression on me.
