*Venue change So on Saturday we went to look at a new venue to host our Let’s Dance Some Mo’ event on Saturday 30th August. However we spent a couple of days weighing things up and it just didn’t feel right. So for this one we have decided to use the Piccadilly Tap to host the event which is in the heart of the city❤️ Some of you will be aware that I am a resident Dj here and I love this place❤️ They are all really excited about hosting the event and everyone can join the party and it’s free entry!! The decks are in the downstairs bar where there is seating and a vast selection of craft beers😊 There is outside seating too and a terrace upstairs. The music is piped all around the venue (inc the toilets😉)so you won’t miss a thing!! The guest djs need very little introduction as they are all top of their game. Like always they are invited to play songs they love from the heart❤️ The djs remain the same apart from the absence of Soulful Jules. Sadly work commitments means he can’t join us on this occasion. However along with all the other djs Soulful Jules will be back next year along with the other Djs when we celebrate 10 years of LDSM🕺🏻💃🏼 We are delighted to add Susan Spiby-Wade to the dj line up. Someone who is loved and respected and a big supporter of LDSM❤️ Kick off-3pm til Midnight. Had a couple of busy days but it’s given me time to reflect on my thoughts from the first LDSM party of 2025 on Saturday 💙 When I first got involved with promoting events this was what I always wanted, Djs playing records they love and from the heart❤️ Likeminded folk coming along to support them and getting lost in the music. Everyone was completely invested and embraced the whole event and for myself and Mandie it was a total joy. Musically you had everything soulful 💙 We cannot do it without your wonderful support and we want to thank each and everyone of you. I was busy enjoying myself so I only took one picture😊 So we now look forward to our next event on Saturday 30th August..guest Dj line up to follow soon🚀

Over the years he has amassed a small but mighty record collection and the list of clubs up and down the U.K, Europe & the U.S where he has shared his love for all things soulful is impressive for a kid that just wanted to dance. Currently he is enjoying his 7th year residency at the WSCW & has a Bi Monthly residency at Soul Unity @ Overdraft in Southampton, where he is also co promoter. With only two weeks to go until our first LDSM party of 2025 on Saturday 29th March the excitement is building !!💃🏼🕺🏻 So with this in mind is time to meet the guest Dj’s. Alan Barber Dj blog I am an 80’s soul boy at heart, started DJ ing at the tender age of 16, played music across the board throughout the years of collecting vinyl. Got hooked on the modern soul scene after visiting the Cannonball weekender in Italy in 2017, listening to some fantastic Dj’s playing some sublime music. That’s when the serious collecting began! I now promote my own events to the west of London on a regular basis as well as having the pleasure of being involved with the Ibiza Modified weekender on a yearly basis. I’m looking forward to playing two completely different sets of music at LDSM, the first set will be purely modern soul gems followed by a second set of more uptempo dancers. Currently at the front of the box are: Poppeye - Never Gonna Give You Up. A previously unreleased track from 1978 out now on Super Disco Edits. Joe McKeever-Dance with me-An up tempo 80’s dancer.
