  1. To me it is a way of life, a part of me that can not be taken away. The people ( for a lot of us it's like a second family), expressing your feeling's for the music through dancing. The enthusiam of Dj's and collector's alike, who continue to search out and bring forward new and forgotten sound's, even after all these year's. In the early hour's of the morning, your favorite record fill's the hall, on the dance floor you lose yourself, unaware of anyone around you, lost in your own world. I alway's feel if I never do anything else in this life, I'm grateful I found N.S. Ok a bit heavy and deep for first thing the morning, but hey you did ask! Karen.
  2. Not your accent Brett, think it's my hearing, getting old now! Jesse Fisher is the one. Thank's Soulmac for your help. Karen.
  3. Thank's Brett, think it was on Whale/Wale, played after Darrow Fletcher (15yrs old Wow!). Hope this help's. Karen
  4. Mark & Brett, great show Sunday, some brilliant track's played. A couple of my fav's are Ruth Kristie (not sure if spelt correctly) - Make the devil stop messing with me and Pat Clayton - Someone else's turn. Missed the Artist and full title of a brilliant track starting - Your not loving? me now? hopefully you can fill in the missing piece's. Thank's Karen
  5. I truely love this music, don't have thousand's of pound's of record, but fully appreciate black vinyl, label's and cost oh and refuse to own pressing's!. Label's and cost are all a part of the scene and who said"if you don't collect your not worthy"?. Quote: This scene will die soon if everyone keep's up this pretence that northern soul is about a small black piece of vinyl/acetate! How would n.soul exist today without that black vinyl? What keep's the scene going and not dying after all these year's is that little piece of Black Vinyl Dj's up and down the country play week in, week out.!! Karen
  6. Mark, listened to your show last sunday with guest Chalky for the first time, really enjoyed it. Will definately tune in every sunday from now on. Great idea about the CD, hope you can find the time. Karen
  7. Like it, had to play it a few time's before I decided, started to like it after 2nd play. Karen
