  7. Hello Joe, Really...thats even better then as mine says 'Cracked'. Thanks again for the sleeves mate.
  8. Matt, Came out on a single sided demo 118 Wheelsville 'Cracked up over you',and twice on 118 Wheelsville issue. Rarer and more expensive being the mispelt 'Craked' instead of the 'Cracked'. Off the top of my balding head the great 'How are you fixed for love' was also the flip of other great Lee Rogers tracks 'Love and War' Wheelsville 110 and 'The same things that make you laugh' Wheelsville 119 and was played at the last Middleton allnighter. Try and have a listen to all of Lee Rogers recordings, just like another soul artist Howard Tate not a bad track ever made. cheers nick

Anyway back on topic..what has a hazlenut in every bite. ive just noticed stubbsy wants to know what are the latest hot boxers delights? Surely not The Vontastics??
  21. Nick Hackett posted a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
Can a hotboxer buy a larger hotbox or is the rule of hotboxing 200?
  22. Nick Hackett posted a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
HOT BOX'ing..seperates the collectors from the dj's. A collector will over years enjoy building a collection of various styles of soul on 45/lps/cds whether midtempo, ballads, stompers 6ts/7ts etc whatever suits the collectors taste. They will try and find out as much info on any artists, record labels, matrix numbers etc. A collector thinks about dancefloor and bedroom reaction but usually will be found in garden sheds with the latest sales list or waiting for the postie before the wife wakes up. A hotboxer..has usually one box of tunes that they think is 'hot to trot'..they will sell the play from last week to buy this weeks hot hit to play. A hotboxer thinks only about dancefloor reaction. The goal to keep that box hot..and the dancers happy. A collector/dj is the same as collector above,a lovely collection of tunes to choose from but compared to the hotboxer will usually try and resist selling anything & put the 45 back on the shelf for a few years..until hey presto sounds fresh and great again. nick collector
  23. FOR SALE PIC & BILL IT'S NOT YOU ALL I WANT IS YOU CHARAY 67 DEMO EX £10
  24. HMV sell bottles of record cleaning fluid and cleaning cloths, spray it on a couple of times both sides avoiding the label. Hold the 45 in your hand and rotate the cleaning cloth around 45. Seems to do the job for me.
